9 : 1
ശൌൽ കർത്താവിന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരുടെ നേരെ ഭീഷണിയും കൊലയും നിശ്വസിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു മഹാപുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു,
And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,

9 : 2
ദമസ്കൊസിൽ ഈ മാർഗ്ഗക്കാരായ വല്ല പുരുഷന്മാരെയോ സ്ത്രീകളെയോ കണ്ടാൽ അവരെ പിടിച്ചുകെട്ടി യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരുവാന്തക്കവണ്ണം അവിടത്തെ പള്ളികൾക്കു അവനോടു അധികാരപത്രം വാങ്ങി.
And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

9 : 3
അവൻ പ്രയാണം ചെയ്തു ദമസ്കൊസിന്നു സമീപിച്ചപ്പോൾ പെട്ടെന്നു ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു ഒരു വെളിച്ചം അവന്റെ ചുറ്റും മിന്നി;
And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

9 : 4
അവൻ നിലത്തു വീണു; ശൌലെ, ശൌലേ, നീ എന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു തന്നോടു പറയുന്ന ഒരു ശബ്ദം കേട്ടു.
And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

9 : 5
നീ ആരാകുന്നു, കർത്താവേ, എന്നു അവൻ ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: നീ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്ന യേശു ആകുന്നു ഞാൻ.
And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

9 : 6
നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റു പട്ടണത്തിൽ ചെല്ലുക; നീ ചെയ്യേണ്ടുന്നതു അവിടെ വെച്ചു നിന്നോടു പറയും എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

9 : 7
അവനോടുകൂടെ പ്രയാണം ചെയ്ത പുരുഷന്മാർ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടു എങ്കിലും ആരെയും കാണാതെ മരവിച്ചു നിന്നു.
And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

9 : 8
ശൌൽ നിലത്തുനിന്നു എഴുന്നേറ്റു കണ്ണു തുറന്നാറെ ഒന്നും കണ്ടില്ല; അവർ അവനെ കൈക്കു പിടിച്ചു ദമസ്കൊസിൽ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയി;
And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.

9 : 9
അവൻ മൂന്നു ദിവസം കണ്ണു കാണാതെയും തിന്നുകയോ കുടിക്കയോ ചെയ്യാതെയും ഇരുന്നു.
And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.

9 : 10
എന്നാൽ അനന്യാസ് എന്നൊരു ശിഷ്യൻ ദമസ്കൊസിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു: അവനെ കർത്താവു ഒരു ദർശനത്തിൽ: അനന്യാസേ എന്നു വിളിച്ചു. കർത്താവേ, അടിയൻ ഇതാ എന്നു അവൻ വിളികേട്ടു.
And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.

9 : 11
കർത്താവു അവനോടു: നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റു നേർവ്വീഥി എന്ന തെരുവിൽ ചെന്നു, യൂദയുടെ വീട്ടിൽ തർസൊസുകാരനായ ശൌൽ എന്നു പേരുള്ളവനെ അന്വേഷിക്ക;
And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,

9 : 12
അവൻ പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു; അനന്യാസ് എന്നൊരു പുരുഷൻ അകത്തു വന്നു താൻ കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്റെ മേല്‍ കൈ വെക്കുന്നതു അവൻ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.
And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

9 : 13
അതിന്നു അനന്യാസ്: കർത്താവേ, ആ മനുഷ്യൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽ നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാർക്കു എത്ര ദോഷം ചെയ്തു എന്നു പലരും പറഞ്ഞു ഞാൻ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:

9 : 14
ഇവിടെയും നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നവരെ ഒക്കെയും പിടിച്ചുകെട്ടുവാൻ അവന്നു മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ അധികാരപത്രം ഉണ്ടു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.

9 : 15
കർത്താവു അവനോടു: നീ പോക; അവൻ എന്റെ നാമം ജാതികൾക്കും രാജാക്കന്മാർക്കും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കും മുമ്പിൽ വഹിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നൊരു പാത്രം ആകുന്നു.
But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

9 : 16
എന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി അവൻ എന്തെല്ലാം കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കേണ്ടതാകുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ അവനെ കാണിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.

9 : 17
അങ്ങനെ അനന്യാസ് ആ വീട്ടിൽ ചെന്നു അവന്റെമേൽ കൈ വെച്ചു: ശൌലേ, സഹോദരാ, നീ കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിച്ചു പരിശുദ്ധാത്മപൂർണ്ണൻ ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ വന്ന വഴിയിൽ നിനക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായ യേശു എന്ന കർത്താവു എന്നെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

9 : 18
ഉടനെ അവന്റെ കണ്ണിൽ നിന്നു ചെതുമ്പൽപോലെ വീണു; കാഴ്ച ലഭിച്ചു അവൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു സ്നാനം ഏൽക്കയും ആഹാരം കൈക്കൊണ്ടു ബലം പ്രാപിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.
And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

9 : 19
അവൻ ദമസ്കൊസിലുള്ള ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു കൂടെ കുറെനാൾ പാർത്തു,
And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.

9 : 20
യേശു തന്നേ ദൈവപുത്രൻ എന്നു പള്ളികളിൽ പ്രസംഗിച്ചു.
And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

9 : 21
കേട്ടവർ എല്ലാവരും വിസ്മയിച്ചു: യെരൂശലേമിൽ ഈ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നവർക്കു നാശം ചെയ്തവൻ ഇവനല്ലയോ? ഇവിടെയും അവരെ പിടിച്ചുകെട്ടി മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുപോകുവാനല്ലോ വന്നതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?

9 : 22
ശൌലോ മേല്ക്കുമേൽ ശക്തിപ്രാപിച്ചു, യേശു തന്നേ ക്രിസ്തു എന്നു തെളിയിച്ചു ദമസ്കൊസിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന യെഹൂദന്മാരെ മിണ്ടാതാക്കി.
But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.

9 : 23
കുറെനാൾ കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ യെഹൂദന്മാർ അവനെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ ആലോചിച്ചു.
And after that many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him:

9 : 24
ശൌൽ അവരുടെ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടു അറിഞ്ഞു; അവനെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ അവർ രാവും പകലും നഗര ഗോപുരങ്ങളിൽ കാവൽ വെച്ചു.
But their laying await was known of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him.

9 : 25
എന്നാൽ അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ രാത്രിയിൽ അവനെ ഒരു കൊട്ടയിലാക്കി മതിൽവഴിയായി ഇറക്കിവിട്ടു.
Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.

9 : 26
അവൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽ എത്തിയാറെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു ചേരുവാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു; എന്നാൽ അവൻ ഒരു ശിഷ്യൻ എന്നു വിശ്വസിക്കാതെ എല്ലാവരും അവനെ പേടിച്ചു.
And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and believed not that he was a disciple.

9 : 27
ബർന്നബാസോ അവനെ കൂട്ടി അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടു ചെന്നു; അവൻ വഴിയിൽ വെച്ചു കർത്താവിനെ കണ്ടതും കർത്താവു അവനോടു സംസാരിച്ചതും ദമസ്കൊസിൽ അവൻ യേശുവിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ പ്രാഗത്ഭ്യത്തോടെ പ്രസംഗിച്ചതും എല്ലാം അവരോടു വിവരിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.
But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.

9 : 28
പിന്നെ അവൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽ അവരുമായി പെരുമാറുകയും കർത്താവിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ പ്രാഗത്ഭ്യത്തോടെ പ്രസംഗിക്കയും ചെയ്തു പോന്നു.
And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem.

9 : 29
യവനഭാഷക്കാരായ യെഹൂദന്മാരോടും അവൻ സംഭാഷിച്ചു തർക്കിച്ചു; അവരോ അവനെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ വട്ടംകൂട്ടി.
And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.

9 : 30
സഹോദരന്മാർ അതു അറിഞ്ഞു അവനെ കൈസര്യയിലേക്കു കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയി, അവിടെനിന്നു തർസൊസിലേക്കു അയച്ചു.
Which when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.

9 : 31
അങ്ങനെ യെഹൂദ്യാ, ഗലീല, ശമര്യ എന്നീ ദേശങ്ങളിൽ ഒക്കെയും സഭെക്കു സമാധാനം ഉണ്ടായി, അതു ആത്മികവർദ്ധന പ്രാപിച്ചും കർത്താവിനോടുള്ള ഭക്തിയിലും പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ പ്രബോധനയിലും നടന്നും പെരുകിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

9 : 32
പത്രൊസ് എല്ലാടവും സഞ്ചരിക്കയിൽ ലുദ്ദയിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കലും ചെന്നു;
And it came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all quarters, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.

9 : 33
അവിടെ പക്ഷവാതം പിടിച്ചു എട്ടു സംവത്സരമായി കിടപ്പിൽ ആയിരുന്ന ഐനെയാസ് എന്നു പേരുള്ളോരു മനുഷ്യനെ കണ്ടു.
And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy.

9 : 34
പത്രൊസ് അവനോടു: ഐനെയാസേ, യേശുക്രിസ്തു നിന്നെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കുന്നു; എഴുന്നേറ്റു താനായി തന്നേ കിടക്ക വിരിച്ചുകൊൾക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; ഉടനെ അവൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു.
And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.

9 : 35
ലുദ്ദയിലും ശാരോനിലും പാർക്കുന്നവർ എല്ലാവരും അവനെ കണ്ടു കർത്താവിങ്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു.
And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.

9 : 36
യോപ്പയിൽ പേടമാൻ എന്നർത്ഥമുള്ള തബീഥാ എന്നു പേരുള്ളോരു ശിഷ്യ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവൾ വളരെ സൽപ്രവൃത്തികളും ധർമ്മങ്ങളും ചെയ്തുപോന്നവളായിരുന്നു.
Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.

9 : 37
ആ കാലത്ത് അവൾ ദീനം പിടിച്ചു മരിച്ചു; അവർ അവളെ കുളിപ്പിച്ചു ഒരു മാളികമുറിയിൽ കിടത്തി.
And it came to pass in those days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.

9 : 38
ലുദ്ദ യോപ്പെക്കു സമീപമാകയാൽ പത്രൊസ് അവിടെ ഉണ്ടെന്നു ശിഷ്യന്മാർ കേട്ടു: നീ താമസിയാതെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കലോളം വരേണം എന്നു അപേക്ഷിപ്പാൻ രണ്ടു ആളെ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചു.
And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.

9 : 39
പത്രൊസ് എഴുന്നേറ്റു അവരോടുകൂടെ ചെന്നു. എത്തിയപ്പോൾ അവർ അവനെ മാളികമുറിയിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയി; അവിടെ വിധവമാർ എല്ലാവരും കരഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടും തബീഥാ തങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഉള്ളപ്പോൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ കുപ്പായങ്ങളും ഉടുപ്പുകളും കാണിച്ചുകൊണ്ടും അവന്റെ ചുറ്റും നിന്നു.
Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.

9 : 40
പത്രൊസ് അവരെ ഒക്കെയും പുറത്തിറക്കി മുട്ടുകുത്തി പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു ശവത്തിന്റെ നേരെ തിരിഞ്ഞു: തബീത്ഥയേ, എഴുന്നേൽക്കൂ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു: അവൾ കണ്ണു തുറന്നു പത്രൊസിനെ കണ്ടു എഴുന്നേറ്റു ഇരുന്നു.
But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

9 : 41
അവൻ കൈ കൊടുത്തു അവളെ എഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു, വിശുദ്ധന്മാരെയും വിധവമാരെയും വിളിച്ചു അവളെ ജീവനുള്ളവളായി അവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നിറുത്തി.
And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.

9 : 42
ഇതു യോപ്പയിൽ എങ്ങും പ്രസിദ്ധമായി,
And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.

9 : 43
പലരും കർത്താവിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചു. പിന്നെ അവൻ തോൽക്കൊല്ലനായ ശിമോൻ എന്ന ഒരുത്തനോടുകൂടെ വളരെ നാൾ യോപ്പയിൽ പാർത്തു.
And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner.
