30 : 1
ഇപ്പോഴോ എന്നിലും പ്രായം കുറഞ്ഞവർ എന്നെ നോക്കി ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ അപ്പന്മാരെ എന്റെ ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടത്തിന്റെ നായ്ക്കളോടുകൂടെ ആക്കുവാൻ പോലും ഞാൻ നിരസിക്കുമായിരുന്നു.
But now they that are younger than I have me in derision, whose fathers I would have disdained to have set with the dogs of my flock.

30 : 2
അവരുടെ കയ്യൂറ്റംകൊണ്ടു എനിക്കെന്തു പ്രയോജനം? അവരുടെ യൌവനശക്തി നശിച്ചുപോയല്ലോ.
Yea, whereto might the strength of their hands profit me, in whom old age was perished?

30 : 3
ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടും വിശപ്പുംകൊണ്ടു അവർ മെലിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; ശൂന്യത്തിന്റെയും നിർജ്ജനദേശത്തിന്റെയും ഇരുട്ടിൽ അവർ വരണ്ട നിലം കടിച്ചുകാരുന്നു.
For want and famine they were solitary; fleeing into the wilderness in former time desolate and waste.

30 : 4
അവർ കുറുങ്കാട്ടിൽ മണൽചീര പറിക്കുന്നു; കാട്ടുകിഴങ്ങു അവർക്കു ആഹാരമായിരിക്കുന്നു.
Who cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots for their meat.

30 : 5
ജനമദ്ധ്യേനിന്നു അവരെ ഓടിച്ചുകളയുന്നു; കള്ളനെപ്പോലെ അവരെ ആട്ടിക്കളയുന്നു.
They were driven forth from among men, (they cried after them as after a thief;)

30 : 6
താഴ്വരപ്പിളർപ്പുകളിൽ അവർ പാർക്കേണ്ടിവരുന്നു; മൺകുഴികളിലും പാറയുടെ ഗഹ്വരങ്ങളിലും തന്നേ.
To dwell in the cliffs of the valleys, in caves of the earth, and in the rocks.

30 : 7
കുറുങ്കാട്ടിൽ അവർ കതറുന്നു; തൂവയുടെ കീഴെ അവർ ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടുന്നു.
Among the bushes they brayed; under the nettles they were gathered together.

30 : 8
അവർ ഭോഷന്മാരുടെ മക്കൾ, നീചന്മാരുടെ മക്കൾ; അവരെ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു ചമ്മട്ടികൊണ്ടു അടിച്ചോടിക്കുന്നു.
They were children of fools, yea, children of base men: they were viler than the earth.

30 : 9
ഇപ്പോഴോ ഞാൻ അവരുടെ പാട്ടായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർക്കു പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലായിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
And now am I their song, yea, I am their byword.

30 : 10
അവർ എന്നെ അറെച്ചു അകന്നുനില്ക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ കണ്ടു തുപ്പുവാൻ ശങ്കിക്കുന്നില്ല.
They abhor me, they flee far from me, and spare not to spit in my face.

30 : 11
അവൻ തന്റെ കയറു അഴിച്ചു എന്നെ ക്ളേശിപ്പിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ കടിഞ്ഞാൺ അയച്ചു വിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
Because he hath loosed my cord, and afflicted me, they have also let loose the bridle before me.

30 : 12
വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു നീചപരിഷ എഴുന്നേറ്റു എന്റെ കാൽ ഉന്തുന്നു; അവർ നാശമാർഗ്ഗങ്ങളെ എന്റെ നേരെ നിരത്തുന്നു.
Upon my right hand rise the youth; they push away my feet, and they raise up against me the ways of their destruction.

30 : 13
അവർ എന്റെ പാതയെ നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; അവർ തന്നേ തുണയറ്റവർ ആയിരിക്കെ എന്റെ അപായത്തിന്നായി ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു.
They mar my path, they set forward my calamity, they have no helper.

30 : 14
വിസ്താരമുള്ള തുറവിൽകൂടി എന്നപോലെ അവർ ആക്രമിച്ചുവരുന്നു; ഇടിവിന്റെ നടുവിൽ അവർ എന്റെ മേൽ ഉരുണ്ടുകയറുന്നു.
They came upon me as a wide breaking in of waters: in the desolation they rolled themselves upon me.

30 : 15
ഘോരത്വങ്ങൾ എന്റെ നേരെ തിരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; കാറ്റുപോലെ എന്റെ മഹത്വത്തെ പാറ്റിക്കളയുന്നു; എന്റെ ക്ഷേമവും മേഘംപോലെ കടന്നു പോകുന്നു.
Terrors are turned upon me: they pursue my soul as the wind: and my welfare passeth away as a cloud.

30 : 16
ഇപ്പോൾ എന്റെ പ്രാണൻ എന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ തൂകിപ്പോകുന്നു; കഷ്ടകാലം എന്നെ പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me.

30 : 17
രാത്രി എന്റെ അസ്ഥികളെ തുളച്ചെടുത്തുകളയുന്നു; എന്നെ കടിച്ചുകാരുന്നവർ ഉറങ്ങുന്നതുമില്ല.
My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest.

30 : 18
ഉഗ്രബലത്താൽ എന്റെ വസ്ത്രം വിരൂപമായിരിക്കുന്നു; അങ്കിയുടെ കഴുത്തുപോലെ എന്നോടു പറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
By the great force of my disease is my garment changed: it bindeth me about as the collar of my coat.

30 : 19
അവൻ എന്നെ ചെളിയിൽ ഇട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ പൊടിക്കും ചാരത്തിന്നും തുല്യമായിരിക്കുന്നു.
He hath cast me into the mire, and I am become like dust and ashes.

30 : 20
ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു; നീ ഉത്തരം അരുളുന്നില്ല; ഞാൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു നില്ക്കുന്നു; നീ എന്നെ തുറിച്ചുനോക്കുന്നതേയുള്ളു.
I cry unto thee, and thou dost not hear me: I stand up, and thou regardest me not.

30 : 21
നീ എന്റെ നേരെ ക്രൂരനായിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ കയ്യുടെ ശക്തിയാൽ നീ എന്നെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
Thou art become cruel to me: with thy strong hand thou opposest thyself against me.

30 : 22
നീ എന്നെ കാറ്റിൻ പുറത്തു കയറ്റി ഓടിക്കുന്നു; കൊടുങ്കാറ്റിൽ നീ എന്നെ ലയിപ്പിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.
Thou liftest me up to the wind; thou causest me to ride upon it, and dissolvest my substance.

30 : 23
മരണത്തിലേക്കും സകലജീവികളും ചെന്നു ചേരുന്ന വീട്ടിലേക്കും നീ എന്നെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുമെന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു.
For I know that thou wilt bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living.

30 : 24
എങ്കിലും വീഴുമ്പോൾ കൈ നീട്ടുകയില്ലയോ? അപായത്തിൽ അതു നിമിത്തം നിലവിളിക്കയില്ലയോ?
Howbeit he will not stretch out his hand to the grave, though they cry in his destruction.

30 : 25
കഷ്ടകാലം വന്നവന്നു വേണ്ടി ഞാൻ കരഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലയോ? എളിയവന്നു വേണ്ടി എന്റെ മനസ്സു വ്യസനിച്ചിട്ടില്ലയോ?
Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? was not my soul grieved for the poor?

30 : 26
ഞാൻ നന്മെക്കു നോക്കിയിരുന്നപ്പോൾ തിന്മവന്നു വെളിച്ചത്തിന്നായി കാത്തിരുന്നപ്പോൾ ഇരുട്ടുവന്നു.
When I looked for good, then evil came unto me: and when I waited for light, there came darkness.

30 : 27
എന്റെ കുടൽ അമരാതെ തിളെക്കുന്നു; കഷ്ടകാലം എനിക്കു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
My bowels boiled, and rested not: the days of affliction prevented me.

30 : 28
ഞാൻ കറുത്തവനായി നടക്കുന്നു; വെയിൽ കൊണ്ടല്ലതാനും. ഞാൻ സഭയിൽ എഴുന്നേറ്റു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു.
I went mourning without the sun: I stood up, and I cried in the congregation.

30 : 29
ഞാൻ കുറുക്കന്മാർക്കു സഹോദരനും ഒട്ടകപ്പക്ഷികൾക്കു കൂട്ടാളിയും ആയിരിക്കുന്നു.
I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls.

30 : 30
എന്റെ ത്വൿ കറുത്തു പൊളിഞ്ഞുവീഴുന്നു; എന്റെ അസ്ഥി ഉഷ്ണംകൊണ്ടു കരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat.

30 : 31
എന്റെ കിന്നരനാദം വിലാപമായും എന്റെ കുഴലൂത്തു കരച്ചലായും തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
My harp also is turned to mourning, and my organ into the voice of them that weep.
