41 : 1
മഹാനക്രത്തെ ചൂണ്ടലിട്ടു പിടിക്കാമോ? അതിന്റെ നാകൂ കയറുകൊണ്ടു അമർത്താമോ?
Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?

41 : 2
അതിന്റെ മൂക്കിൽ കയറു കോർക്കാമോ? അതിന്റെ അണയിൽ കൊളുത്തു കടത്താമോ?
Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn?

41 : 3
അതു നിന്നോടു ഏറിയ യാചന കഴിക്കുമോ? സാവധാനവാക്കു നിന്നോടു പറയുമോ?
Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words unto thee?

41 : 4
അതിനെ എന്നും ദാസനാക്കിക്കൊള്ളേണ്ടതിന്നു അതു നിന്നോടു ഉടമ്പടി ചെയ്യുമോ?
Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever?

41 : 5
പക്ഷിയോടു എന്നപോലെ നീ അതിനോടു കളിക്കുമോ? അതിനെ പിടിച്ചു നിന്റെ ബാലമാർക്കായി കെട്ടിയിടുമോ?
Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?

41 : 6
മീൻ പിടിക്കൂറ്റുകാർ അതിനെക്കൊണ്ടു വ്യാപാരം ചെയ്യുമോ? അതിനെ കച്ചവടക്കാർക്കു പകുത്തു വില്ക്കുമോ?
Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall they part him among the merchants?

41 : 7
നിനക്കു അതിന്റെ തോലിൽ നിറെച്ചു അസ്ത്രവും തലയിൽ നിറെച്ചു ചാട്ടുളിയും തറെക്കാമോ?
Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or his head with fish spears?

41 : 8
അതിനെ ഒന്നു തൊടുക; പോർ തിട്ടം എന്നു ഓർത്തുകൊൾക; പിന്നെ നീ അതിന്നു തുനികയില്ല.
Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more.

41 : 9
അവന്റെ ആശെക്കു ഭംഗംവരുന്നു; അതിനെ കാണുമ്പോൾ തന്നേ അവൻ വീണു പോകുമല്ലോ.
Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him?

41 : 10
അതിനെ ഇളക്കുവാൻ തക്ക ശൂരനില്ല; പിന്നെ എന്നോടു എതിർത്തുനില്ക്കുന്നവൻ ആർ?
None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?

41 : 11
ഞാൻ മടക്കിക്കൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എനിക്കു മുമ്പു കൂട്ടി തന്നതാർ? ആകാശത്തിൻ കീഴെയുള്ളതൊക്കെയും എന്റെതല്ലയോ?
Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine.

41 : 12
അതിന്റെ അവയവങ്ങളെയും മഹാശക്തിയെയും അതിന്റെ ചേലൊത്ത രൂപത്തെയുംപറ്റി ഞാൻ മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കയില്ല.
I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion.

41 : 13
അതിന്റെ പുറങ്കുപ്പായം ഊരാകുന്നവനാർ? അതിന്റെ ഇരട്ടനിരപ്പല്ലിന്നിടയിൽ ആർ ചെല്ലും?
Who can discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him with his double bridle?

41 : 14
അതിന്റെ മുഖത്തെ കതകു ആർ തുറക്കും? അതിന്റെ പല്ലിന്നു ചുറ്റും ഭീഷണം ഉണ്ടു.
Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about.

41 : 15
ചെതുമ്പൽനിര അതിന്റെ ഡംഭമാകുന്നു; അതു മുദ്രവെച്ചു മുറുക്കി അടെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal.

41 : 16
അതു ഒന്നോടൊന്നു പറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇടയിൽ കാറ്റുകടക്കയില്ല.
One is so near to another, that no air can come between them.

41 : 17
ഒന്നോടൊന്നു ചേർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; വേർപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൂടാതവണ്ണം തമ്മിൽ പറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered.

41 : 18
അതു തുമ്മുമ്പോൾ വെളിച്ചം മിന്നുന്നു; അതിന്റെ കണ്ണു ഉഷസ്സിന്റെ കണ്ണിമപോലെ ആകുന്നു.
By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.

41 : 19
അതിന്റെ വായിൽനിന്നു തീപ്പന്തങ്ങൾ പുറപ്പെടുകയും തീപ്പൊരികൾ തെറിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out.

41 : 20
തിളെക്കുന്ന കലത്തിൽനിന്നും കത്തുന്ന പോട്ടപ്പുല്ലിൽനിന്നും എന്നപോലെ അതിന്റെ മൂക്കിൽനിന്നു പുക പുറപ്പെടുന്നു.
Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron.

41 : 21
അതിന്റെ ശ്വാസം കനൽ ജ്വലിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ വായിൽനിന്നു ജ്വാല പുറപ്പെടുന്നു.
His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth.

41 : 22
അതിന്റെ കഴുത്തിൽ ബലം വസിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിരാശ നൃത്തം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him.

41 : 23
അതിന്റെ മാംസദശകൾ തമ്മിൽ പറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവ ഇളകിപ്പോകാതവണ്ണം അതിന്മേൽ ഉറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved.

41 : 24
അതിന്റെ ഹൃദയം കല്ലുപോലെ ഉറപ്പുള്ളതു തിരികല്ലിന്റെ അടിക്കല്ലുപോലെ ഉറപ്പുള്ളതു തന്നേ.
His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone.

41 : 25
അതു പൊങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ബലശാലികൾ പേടിക്കുന്നു; ഭയം ഹേതുവായിട്ടു അവർ പരവശരായ്തീരുന്നു.
When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves.

41 : 26
വാൾകൊണ്ടു അതിനെ എതിർക്കുന്നതു അസാദ്ധ്യം; കുന്തം, അസ്ത്രം, വേൽ എന്നിവകൊണ്ടും ആവതില്ല
The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon.

41 : 27
ഇരിമ്പിനെ അതു വൈക്കോൽപോലെയും താമ്രത്തെ ദ്രവിച്ച മരംപോലെയും വിചാരിക്കുന്നു.
He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood.

41 : 28
അസ്ത്രം അതിനെ ഓടിക്കയില്ല; കവിണക്കല്ലു അതിന്നു താളടിയായിരിക്കുന്നു.
The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble.

41 : 29
ഗദ അതിന്നു താളടിപോലെ തോന്നുന്നു; വേൽ ചാടുന്ന ഒച്ച കേട്ടിട്ടു അതു ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear.

41 : 30
അതിന്റെ അധോഭാഗം മൂർച്ചയുള്ള ഓട്ടുകഷണംപോലെയാകുന്നു; അതു ചെളിമേൽ പല്ലിത്തടിപോലെ വലിയുന്നു.
Sharp stones are under him: he spreadeth sharp pointed things upon the mire.

41 : 31
കലത്തെപ്പോലെ അതു ആഴിയെ തിളെപ്പിക്കുന്നു; സമുദ്രത്തെ അതു തൈലംപോലെയാക്കിത്തീർക്കുന്നു.
He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.

41 : 32
അതിന്റെ പിന്നാലെ ഒരു പാത മിന്നുന്നു; ആഴി നരെച്ചതുപോലെ തോന്നുന്നു.
He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary.

41 : 33
ഭൂമിയിൽ അതിന്നു തുല്യമായിട്ടൊന്നും ഇല്ല; അതിനെ ഭയമില്ലാത്തതായി ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear.

41 : 34
അതു ഉന്നതമായുള്ളതിനെയൊക്കെയും നോക്കിക്കാണുന്നു; മദിച്ച ജന്തുക്കൾക്കെല്ലാം അതു രാജാവായിരിക്കുന്നു.
He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.
