37 : 1
ഇതിനാൽ എന്റെ ഹൃദയം വിറെച്ചു തന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു പാളിപ്പോകുന്നു.
At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place.

37 : 2
അവന്റെ നാദത്തിന്റെ മുഴക്കവും അവന്റെ വായിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുന്ന ഗർജ്ജനവും ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകേൾപ്പിൻ.
Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth.

37 : 3
അവൻ അതു ആകാശത്തിൻ കീഴിലൊക്കെയും അതിന്റെ മിന്നൽ ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റത്തോളവും അയക്കുന്നു.
He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.

37 : 4
അതിന്റെ പിന്നാലെ ഒരു മുഴക്കം കേൾക്കുന്നു; അവൻ തന്റെ മഹിമാനാദംകൊണ്ടു ഇടമുഴക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ നാദം കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ അവയെ തടുക്കുന്നില്ല.
After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.

37 : 5
ദൈവം തന്റെ നാദം അതിശയമായി മുഴക്കുന്നു; നുമുകൂ ഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൂടാത്ത മഹാകാര്യങ്ങളെ ചെയ്യുന്നു.
God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.

37 : 6
അവൻ ഹിമത്തോടു: ഭൂമിയിൽ പെയ്യുക എന്നു കല്പിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ മഴയോടും വമ്പിച്ച പെരുമഴയോടും കല്പിക്കുന്നു.
For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.

37 : 7
താൻ സൃഷ്ടിച്ച മനുഷ്യരൊക്കെയും അറിവാന്തക്കവണ്ണം അവൻ സകലമനുഷ്യരുടെയും കൈ മുദ്രയിടുന്നു.
He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.

37 : 8
കാട്ടുമൃഗം ഒളിവിടത്തു ചെന്നു തന്റെ ഗുഹയിൽ കിടക്കുന്നു.
Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places.

37 : 9
ദക്ഷിണമണ്ഡലത്തിൽനിന്നു കൊടുങ്കാറ്റും ഉത്തരദിക്കിൽനിന്നു കുളിരും വരുന്നു.
Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north.

37 : 10
ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ശ്വാസംകൊണ്ടു നീർക്കട്ട ഉളവാകുന്നു; വെള്ളങ്ങളുടെ വിശാലത ഉറെച്ചു പോകുന്നു.
By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.

37 : 11
അവൻ കാർമ്മേഘത്തെ ഈറംകൊണ്ടു കനപ്പിക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ മിന്നലുള്ള മേഘത്തെ പരത്തുന്നു.
Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:

37 : 12
അവൻ അവയോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും ഭൂമിയുടെ ഉപരിഭാഗത്തു ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്റെ ആദേശപ്രകാരം അവ ചുറ്റി സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു.
And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.

37 : 13
ശിക്ഷെക്കായിട്ടോ ദേശത്തിന്റെ നന്മെക്കായിട്ടോ ദയെക്കായിട്ടോ അവൻ അതു വരുത്തുന്നു.
He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.

37 : 14
ഇയ്യോബേ, ഇതു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകൊൾക; മിണ്ടാതിരുന്നു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ചിന്തിച്ചുകൊൾക.
Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.

37 : 15
ദൈവം അവെക്കു കല്പന കൊടുക്കുന്നതും തന്റെ മേഘത്തിലെ മിന്നൽ പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കുന്നതും എങ്ങനെ എന്നു നീ അറിയുന്നുവോ?
Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?

37 : 16
മേഘങ്ങളുടെ ആക്കത്തൂക്കവും ജ്ഞാനസമ്പൂർണ്ണനായവന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും നീ അറിയുന്നുവോ?
Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?

37 : 17
തെന്നിക്കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു ഭൂമി അനങ്ങാതിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ നിന്റെ വസ്ത്രത്തിന്നു ചൂടുണ്ടാകുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ?
How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?

37 : 18
ലോഹദർപ്പണംപോലെ ഉറപ്പുള്ള ആകാശത്തെ നിനക്കു അവനോടുകൂടെ വിടർത്തു വെക്കുമോ?
Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?

37 : 19
അവനോടു എന്തു പറയേണമെന്നു ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ഉപദേശിച്ചു തരിക; അന്ധകാരംനിമിത്തം ഞങ്ങളൾക്കു ഒന്നും പ്രസ്താവിപ്പാൻ കഴിവില്ല.
Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.

37 : 20
എനിക്കു സംസാരിക്കേണം എന്നു അവനോടു ബോധിപ്പിക്കേണമോ? നാശത്തിന്നിരയായ്തീരുവാൻ ആരാനും ഇച്ഛിക്കുമോ?
Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.

37 : 21
ഇപ്പോൾ ആകാശത്തിൽ വെളിച്ചം ശോഭിക്കുന്നതു കാണുന്നില്ല; എങ്കിലും കാറ്റു കടന്നു അതിനെ തെളിവാക്കുന്നു.
And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.

37 : 22
വടക്കുനിന്നു സ്വർണ്ണശോഭപോലെ വരുന്നു; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റും ഭയങ്കരതേജസ്സുണ്ടു.
Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty.

37 : 23
സർവ്വശക്തനെയോ നാം കണ്ടെത്തുകയില്ല; അവൻ ശക്തിയിൽ അത്യുന്നതനാകുന്നു; അവൻ ന്യായത്തിന്നും പൂർണ്ണനീതിക്കും ഭംഗം വരുത്തുന്നില്ല. അതുകൊണ്ടു മനുഷ്യർ അവനെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു; ജ്ഞാനികളെന്നു ഭാവിക്കുന്നവരെ അവൻ കടാക്ഷിക്കുന്നില്ല.
Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
