83 : 1
ദൈവമേ, മിണ്ടാതെയിരിക്കരുതേ; ദൈവമേ, മൌനമായും സ്വസ്ഥമായും ഇരിക്കരുതേ.
Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.

83 : 2
ഇതാ, നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ കലഹിക്കുന്നു; നിന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവർ തല ഉയർത്തുന്നു.
For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.

83 : 3
അവർ നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നേരെ ഉപായം വിചാരിക്കയും നിന്റെ ഗുപ്തന്മാരുടെ നേരെ ദുരാലോചന കഴിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.

83 : 4
വരുവിൻ, യിസ്രായേൽ ഒരു ജാതിയായിരിക്കാതവണ്ണം നാം അവരെ മുടിച്ചുകളക. അവരുടെ പേർ ഇനി ആരും ഓർക്കരുതു എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.
They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

83 : 5
അവർ ഇങ്ങനെ ഐകമത്യത്തോടെ ആലോചിച്ചു, നിനക്കു വിരോധമായി സഖ്യത ചെയ്യുന്നു.
For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:

83 : 6
ഏദോമ്യരുടെയും യിശ്മായേല്യരുടെയും കൂടാരങ്ങളും മോവാബ്യരും ഹഗർയ്യരും കൂടെ,
The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;

83 : 7
ഗെബാലും അമ്മോനും അമാലേക്കും, ഫെലിസ്ത്യദേശവും സോർനിവാസികളും;
Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;

83 : 8
അശ്ശൂരും അവരോടു യോജിച്ചു; അവർ ലോത്തിന്റെ മക്കൾക്കു സഹായമായിരുന്നു സേലാ.
Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.

83 : 9
മിദ്യാന്യരോടു ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അവരോടു ചെയ്യേണമേ; കീശോൻ തോട്ടിങ്കൽവെച്ചു സീസരയോടും യാബീനോടും ചെയ്തതുപോലെ തന്നേ.
Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:

83 : 10
അവർ എൻ ദോരിൽവെച്ചു നശിച്ചുപോയി; അവർ നിലത്തിന്നു വളമായി തീർന്നു.
Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.

83 : 11
അവരുടെ കുലീനന്മാരെ ഓരേബ്, സേബ് എന്നവരെപ്പോലെയും അവരുടെ സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും സേബഹ്, സല്മൂന്നാ എന്നവരെപ്പോലെയും ആക്കേണമേ.
Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:

83 : 12
നാം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നിവാസങ്ങളെ നമുക്കു അവകാശമാക്കിക്കൊള്ളുക എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.
Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.

83 : 13
എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, അവരെ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റത്തെ പൊടിപോലെയും കാറ്റത്തു പാറുന്ന പതിർപോലെയും ആക്കേണമേ.
O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.

83 : 14
വനത്തെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തീപോലെയും പർവ്വതങ്ങളെ ചുട്ടുകളയുന്ന അഗ്നിജ്വാലപോലെയും
As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;

83 : 15
നിന്റെ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ പിന്തുടരേണമേ; നിന്റെ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിക്കേണമേ.
So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.

83 : 16
യഹോവേ, അവർ തിരുനാമത്തെ അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ അവരുടെ മുഖത്തെ ലജ്ജാപൂർണ്ണമാക്കേണമേ.
Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.

83 : 17
അവർ എന്നേക്കും ലജ്ജിച്ചു ഭ്രമിക്കയും നാണിച്ചു നശിച്ചുപോകയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ.
Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:

83 : 18
അങ്ങനെ അവർ യഹോവ എന്നു നാമമുള്ള നീ മാത്രം സർവ്വഭൂമിക്കുംമീതെ അത്യുന്നതൻ എന്നു അറിയും.
That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.
