19 : 1
ഹിസ്കീയാരാജാവു അതു കേട്ടപ്പോൾ വസ്ത്രം കീറി രട്ടുടുത്തുകെണ്ടു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ ചെന്നു.
And it came to pass, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he rent his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD.

19 : 2
പിന്നെ അവൻ രാജധാനിവിചാരകനായ എല്യാക്കീമിനെയും രായസക്കാരനായ ശെബ്നയെയും പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ മൂപ്പന്മാരെയും രട്ടുടുത്തവരായി ആമോസിന്റെ മകനായ യെശയ്യാപ്രവാചകന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചു.
And he sent Eliakim, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.

19 : 3
അവർ അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: ഹിസ്കീയാവു ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുന്നു: ഇതു കഷ്ടവും ശാസനയും നിന്ദയും ഉള്ള ദിവസം അത്രേ; കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾ ജനിപ്പാറായിരിക്കുന്നു; പ്രസവിപ്പാനോ ശക്തിയില്ല.
And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy; for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.

19 : 4
ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തെ നിന്ദിപ്പാൻ റബ്-ശാക്കേയെ അവന്റെ യജമാനനായ അശ്ശൂർരാജാവു അയച്ചു പറയിക്കുന്ന വാക്കു ഒക്കെയും നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ പക്ഷെ കേൾക്കും; നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ കേട്ട വാക്കിന്നു പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യും; ആകയാൽ ഇനിയും ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവർക്കു വേണ്ടി പക്ഷവാദം കഴിക്കേണമേ.
It may be the LORD thy God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God; and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that are left.

19 : 5
ഹിസ്കീയാരാജാവിന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാർ യെശയ്യാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നപ്പോൾ യെശയ്യാവു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു:
So the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah.

19 : 6
നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ യജമാനനോടു പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാൽ: യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: അശ്ശൂർരാജാവിന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാർ എന്നെ നിന്ദിച്ചതായി നീ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന വാക്കുകൾനിമിത്തം ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ.
And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say to your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words which thou hast heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

19 : 7
ഞാൻ അവന്നു ഒരു മനോവിഭ്രമം വരുത്തും; അവൻ ഒരു ശ്രുതി കേട്ടിട്ടു സ്വദേശത്തേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകും; ഞാൻ അവനെ അവന്റെ സ്വന്തദേശത്തുവെച്ചു വാൾകൊണ്ടു വീഴുമാറാക്കും.
Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and shall return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.

19 : 8
റബ്-ശാക്കേ മടങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു അശ്ശൂർരാജാവു ലിബ്നയുടെ നേരെ യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുന്നതു കണ്ടു; അവൻ ലാഖീശ് വിട്ടു പോയി എന്നു അവൻ കേട്ടിരുന്നു.
So Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah: for he had heard that he was departed from Lachish.

19 : 9
ക്രുശ്‌രാജാവായ തിർഹാകൂ തന്റെ നേരെ യുദ്ധം ചെയ്‍വാൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു കേട്ടിട്ടു അവൻ പിന്നെയും ഹിസ്കീയാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ദൂതന്മാരെ അയച്ചു പറയിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
And when he heard say of Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, Behold, he is come out to fight against thee: he sent messengers again unto Hezekiah, saying,

19 : 10
നിങ്ങൾ യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ ഹിസ്കീയാവോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: യെരൂശലേം അശ്ശൂർ രാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചുകളകയില്ല എന്നു നീ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ ദൈവം നിന്നെ ചതിക്കരുതു.
Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God in whom thou trustest deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.

19 : 11
അശ്ശൂർരാജാക്കന്മാർ സകലദേശങ്ങളോടും ചെയ്തതും അവെക്കു ഉന്മൂലനാശം വരുത്തിയതും നീ കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ; നീ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകുമോ?
Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands, by destroying them utterly: and shalt thou be delivered?

19 : 12
ഗോസാൻ, ഹാരാൻ, രേസെഫ്, തെലസ്സാരിലെ എദേന്യർ എന്നിങ്ങനെ എന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ നശിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ജാതികളുടെ ദേവന്മാർ അവരെ വിടുവിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ?
Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed; as Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Thelasar?

19 : 13
ഹമാത്ത്‌രാജാവും അർപ്പാദ്‌രാജാവും സെഫർവ്വയീംപട്ടണം ഹേന ഇവ്വ എന്നവെക്കു രാജാവായിരുന്നവനും എവിടെ?
Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arpad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, of Hena, and Ivah?

19 : 14
ഹിസ്കീയാവു ദൂതന്മാരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു എഴുത്തു വാങ്ങിവായിച്ചു: ഹിസ്കീയാവു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ ചെന്നു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ അതു വിടർത്തി.
And Hezekiah received the letter of the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up into the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.

19 : 15
ഹിസ്കീയാവു യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: കെരൂബുകൾക്കുമീതെ അധിവസിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നീ ഒരുത്തൻ മാത്രം ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലരാജ്യങ്ങൾക്കും ദൈവം ആകുന്നു; നീ ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കി.
And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.

19 : 16
യഹോവേ, ചെവിചായിച്ചു കേൾക്കേണമേ; യഹോവേ, തൃക്കണ്ണുതുറന്നു നോക്കേണമേ; ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തെ നിന്ദിപ്പാൻ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന സൻ ഹേരീബിന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കേണമേ.
LORD, bow down thine ear, and hear: open, LORD, thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God.

19 : 17
യഹോവേ, അശ്ശൂർ രാജാക്കന്മാർ ആ ജാതികളെയും അവരുടെ ദേശത്തെയും ശൂന്യമാക്കിയതു സത്യം തന്നേ.
Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations and their lands,

19 : 18
അവരുടെ ദേവന്മാരെ അവർ തീയിലിട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു; അവ ദേവന്മാരല്ല, മനുഷ്യരുടെ കൈപ്പണിയായ മരവും കല്ലും മാത്രം ആയിരുന്നുവല്ലോ; ആകയാൽ അവർ അവയെ നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.

19 : 19
ഇപ്പോഴോ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നീ ഒരുത്തൻ മാത്രം യഹോവയായ ദൈവം എന്നു ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലരാജ്യങ്ങളും അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ അവന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.
Now therefore, O LORD our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD God, even thou only.

19 : 20
ആമോസിന്റെ മകനായ യെശയ്യാവു ഹിസ്കീയാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പറഞ്ഞയച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നീ അശ്ശൂർരാജാവായ സൻ ഹേരീബിൻ നിമിത്തം എന്നോടു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചതു ഞാൻ കേട്ടു.
Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, That which thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard.

19 : 21
അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത വചനമാവിതു: സീയോൻ പുത്രിയായ കന്യക നിന്നെ നിന്ദിച്ചു പരിഹസിക്കുന്നു; യെരൂശലേംപുത്രി നിന്റെ പിന്നാലെ തല കുലുക്കുന്നു.
This is the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin the daughter of Zion hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.

19 : 22
നീ ആരെയാകുന്നു നിന്ദിച്ചു ദുഷിച്ചതു? ആർക്കു വിരോധമായിട്ടാകുന്നു നീ ഒച്ച പൊക്കുകയും തല ഉന്നതമായി ഉയർത്തുകയും ചെയ്തതു? യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധന്നു വിരോധമായിട്ടു തന്നേയല്ലോ.
Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.

19 : 23
നിന്റെ ദൂതന്മാർ മുഖാന്തരം നീ കർത്താവിനെ നിന്ദിച്ചു: എന്റെ അസംഖ്യരഥങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഞാൻ മലമുകളിലും ലെബാനോന്റെ ശിഖരങ്ങളിലും കയറിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിലെ പൊക്കമുള്ള ദേവദാരുക്കളും വിശേഷമായ സരളവൃക്ഷങ്ങളും ഞാൻ മുറിക്കും; അതിന്റെ അറ്റത്തെ പാർപ്പിടംവരെയും ചെഴിപ്പുള്ള കാടുവരെയും ഞാൻ കടന്നുചെല്ലും.
By thy messengers thou hast reproached the LORD, and hast said, With the multitude of my chariots I am come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon, and will cut down the tall cedar trees thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the lodgings of his borders, and into the forest of his Carmel.

19 : 24
ഞാൻ അന്യജലം കുഴിച്ചെടുത്തു കുടിക്കും. എന്റെ കാലടികളാൽ മിസ്രയീമിലെ സകലനദികളെയും വറ്റിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
I have digged and drunk strange waters, and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of besieged places.

19 : 25
ഞാൻ പണ്ടുപണ്ടേ അതിനെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി, പൂർവ്വകാലത്തു തന്നേ അതിനെ നിർമ്മിച്ചു എന്നു നീ കേട്ടിട്ടില്ലയോ? നീ ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളെ ശൂന്യക്കൂമ്പാരങ്ങളാക്കുവാൻ ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ സംഗതി വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
Hast thou not heard long ago how I have done it, and of ancient times that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste fenced cities into ruinous heaps.

19 : 26
അതുകൊണ്ടു അവയിലെ നിവാസികൾ ദുർബ്ബലന്മാരായി വിരണ്ടു അമ്പരന്നുപോയി; അവർ വയലിലെ പുല്ലും പച്ചച്ചെടിയും പുരപ്പുറങ്ങളിലെ പുല്ലും വളരുമ്മുമ്പെ കരിഞ്ഞുപോയ ധാന്യവുംപോലെ ആയ്തീർന്നു.
Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded; they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the house tops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.

19 : 27
എന്നാൽ നിന്റെ ഇരിപ്പും നിന്റെ ഗമനവും ആഗമനവും എന്റെ നേരെയുള്ള നിന്റെ കോപഭ്രാന്തും ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു.
But I know thy abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy rage against me.

19 : 28
എന്റെ നേരെയുള്ള നിന്റെ കോപഭ്രാന്തുകൊണ്ടും നിന്റെ അഹങ്കാരം എന്റെ ചെവിയിൽ എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടും ഞാൻ എന്റെ കൊളുത്തു നിന്റെ മൂക്കിലും എന്റെ കടിഞ്ഞാൺ നിന്റെ അധരങ്ങളിലും ഇട്ടു, നീ വന്ന വഴിക്കു നിന്നെ മടക്കിക്കൊണ്ടു പോകും.
Because thy rage against me and thy tumult is come up into mine ears, therefore I will put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.

19 : 29
എന്നാൽ ഇതു നിനക്കു അടയാളം ആകും; നിങ്ങൾ ഈ ആണ്ടിൽ പടുവിത്തുവിളയുന്നതും രണ്ടാം ആണ്ടിൽ താനേ കിളുർത്തു വിളയുന്നതും തിന്നും; മൂന്നാം ആണ്ടിൽ നിങ്ങൾ വിതെച്ചു കൊയ്യുകയും മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം ഉണ്ടാക്കി അവയുടെ പഴം തിന്നുകയും ചെയ്യും.
And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such things as grow of themselves, and in the second year that which springeth of the same; and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruits thereof.

19 : 30
യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തിൽ ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു രക്ഷിതഗണം വീണ്ടും താഴെ വേരൂന്നി മീതെ ഫലം കായക്കും.
And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.

19 : 31
ഒരു ശേഷിപ്പു യെരൂശലേമിൽനിന്നും ഒരു രക്ഷിതഗണം സീയോൻ പർവ്വതത്തിൽനിന്നും പുറപ്പെട്ടുവരും; യഹോവയുടെ തീക്ഷ്ണത അതിനെ അനുഷ്ഠിക്കും.
For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.

19 : 32
അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ അശ്ശൂർരാജാവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: അവൻ ഈ നഗരത്തിലേക്കു വരികയില്ല; ഒരു അമ്പു അവിടെ എയ്കയില്ല. അതിന്റെ നേരെ പരിചയോടുകൂടെ വരികയില്ല; അതിന്നു എതിരെ വാടകോരുകയുമില്ല.
Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor cast a bank against it.

19 : 33
അവൻ വന്ന വഴിക്കു തന്നേ മടങ്ങിപ്പോകും; ഈ നഗരത്തിലേക്കു വരികയില്ല.
By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD.

19 : 34
എന്റെ നിമിത്തവും എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിന്റെ നിമിത്തവും ഞാൻ ഈ നഗരത്തെ പാലിച്ചു രക്ഷിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
For I will defend this city, to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

19 : 35
അന്നു രാത്രി യഹോവയുടെ ദൂതൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടു അശ്ശൂർപാളയത്തിൽ ഒരു ലക്ഷത്തെണ്പത്തയ്യായിരം പേരെ കൊന്നു; ജനം രാവിലെ എഴുന്നേറ്റപ്പോൾ അവർ എല്ലാവരും ശവങ്ങളായി കിടക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു.
And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

19 : 36
അങ്ങനെ അശ്ശൂർരാജാവായ സൻ ഹേരീബ് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെട്ടു മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി നീനെവേയിൽ പാർത്തു.
So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.

19 : 37
അവൻ തന്റെ ദേവനായ നിസ്രോക്കിന്റെ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ നമസ്കരിക്കുന്ന സമയത്തു അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ അദ്രമേലെക്കും ശരേസെരും അവനെ വാൾകൊണ്ടു കൊന്നിട്ടു അരാരാത്ത് ദേശത്തേക്കു ഓടിപ്പൊയ്ക്കളഞ്ഞു. അവന്റെ മകനായ ഏസെർ-ഹദ്ദോൻ അവന്നുപകരം രാജാവായ്തീർന്നു.
And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword: and they escaped into the land of Armenia. And Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.
