3 : 1
ഞാൻ അവന്റെ കോപത്തിന്റെ വടികൊണ്ടു കഷ്ടം കണ്ട പുരുഷനാകുന്നു.
I AM the man that hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.

3 : 2
അവൻ എന്നെ വെളിച്ചത്തിലല്ല, ഇരുട്ടിലത്രേ നടത്തിക്കൊണ്ടു പോന്നിരിക്കുന്നതു.
He hath led me, and brought me into darkness, but not into light.

3 : 3
അതേ, അവൻ ഇടവിടാതെ പിന്നെയും പിന്നെയും തന്റെ കൈ എന്റെ നേരെ തിരിക്കുന്നു.
Surely against me is he turned; he turneth his hand against me all the day.

3 : 4
എന്റെ മാംസത്തെയും ത്വക്കിനെയും അവൻ ജീർണ്ണമാക്കി, എന്റെ അസ്ഥികളെ തകർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
My flesh and my skin hath he made old; he hath broken my bones.

3 : 5
അവൻ എന്റെ നേരെ പിണിതു, നഞ്ചും പ്രയാസവും എന്നെ ചുറ്റുമാറാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
He hath builded against me, and compassed me with gall and travail.

3 : 6
ശാശ്വതമൃതന്മാരെപ്പോലെ അവൻ എന്നെ ഇരുട്ടിൽ പാർപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
He hath set me in dark places, as they that be dead of old.

3 : 7
പുറത്തു പോകുവാൻ കഴിയാതവണ്ണം അവൻ എന്നെ വേലികെട്ടിയടച്ചു എന്റെ ചങ്ങലയെ ഭാരമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
He hath hedged me about, that I cannot get out: he hath made my chain heavy.

3 : 8
ഞാൻ ക്കുകി നിലവിളിച്ചാലും അവൻ എന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന തടുത്തുകളയുന്നു.
Also when I cry and shout, he shutteth out my prayer.

3 : 9
വെട്ടുകല്ലുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ എന്റെ വഴി അടെച്ചു, എന്റെ പാതകളെ വികടമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
He hath inclosed my ways with hewn stone, he hath made my paths crooked.

3 : 10
അവൻ എനിക്കു പതിയിരിക്കുന്ന കരടിയെപ്പോലെയും മറഞ്ഞുനില്ക്കുന്ന സിംഹത്തെപ്പോലെയും ആകുന്നു.
He was unto me as a bear lying in wait, and as a lion in secret places.

3 : 11
അവൻ എന്റെ വഴികളെ തെറ്റിച്ചു എന്നെ കടിച്ചുകീറി ശൂന്യമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
He hath turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces: he hath made me desolate.

3 : 12
അവൻ വില്ലു കുലെച്ചു എന്നെ അമ്പിന്നു ലാക്കാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
He hath bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.

3 : 13
അവൻ തന്റെ പൂണിയിലെ അമ്പുകളെ എന്റെ അന്തരംഗങ്ങളിൽ തറെപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
He hath caused the arrows of his quiver to enter into my reins.

3 : 14
ഞാൻ എന്റെ സർവ്വജനത്തിന്നും പരിഹാസവും ഇടവിടാതെ അവരുടെ പാട്ടും ആയിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
I was a derision to all my people; and their song all the day.

3 : 15
അവൻ എന്നെ കൈപ്പുകൊണ്ടു നിറെച്ചു, കാഞ്ഞിരംകൊണ്ടു മത്തുപിടിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു;
He hath filled me with bitterness, he hath made me drunken with wormwood.

3 : 16
അവൻ കല്ലുകൊണ്ടു എന്റെ പല്ലു തകർത്തു, എന്നെ വെണ്ണീരിൽ ഇട്ടുരുട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
He hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones, he hath covered me with ashes.

3 : 17
നീ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ സമാധാനത്തിൽനിന്നു നീക്കി; ഞാൻ സുഖം മറന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
And thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I forgat prosperity.

3 : 18
എന്റെ മഹത്വവും യഹോവയിങ്കലുള്ള എന്റെ പ്രത്യാശയും പൊയ്പോയല്ലോ എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
And I said, My strength and my hope is perished from the LORD:

3 : 19
നീ എന്റെ കഷ്ടതയും അരിഷ്ടതയും കാഞ്ഞിരവും കൈപ്പും ഓർക്കേണമേ.
Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.

3 : 20
എന്റെ പ്രാണൻ എന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ എപ്പോഴും അവയെ ഓർത്തു ഉരുകിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.

3 : 21
ഇതു ഞാൻ ഓർക്കും; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ പ്രത്യാശിക്കും.
This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.

3 : 22
നാം മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകാതിരിക്കുന്നതു യഹോവയുടെ ദയ ആകുന്നു; അവന്റെ കരുണ തീർന്നു പോയിട്ടില്ലല്ലോ;
It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

3 : 23
അതു രാവിലെതോറും പുതിയതും നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്ഥത വലിയതും ആകുന്നു.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

3 : 24
യഹോവ എന്റെ ഓഹരി എന്നു എന്റെ ഉള്ളം പറയുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അവനിൽ പ്രത്യാശവെക്കുന്നു.
The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

3 : 25
തന്നെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവർക്കും തന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവന്നും യഹോവ നല്ലവൻ.
The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

3 : 26
യഹോവയുടെ രക്ഷെക്കായി മിണ്ടാതെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നതു നല്ലതു.
It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

3 : 27
ബാല്യത്തിൽ നുകം ചുമക്കുന്നതു ഒരു പുരുഷന്നു നല്ലതു.
It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.

3 : 28
അവൻ അതു അവന്റെ മേൽ വെച്ചിരിക്ക കൊണ്ടു അവൻ തനിച്ചു മൌനം ആയിരിക്കട്ടെ.
He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne it upon him.

3 : 29
അവൻ തന്റെ മുഖത്തെ പൊടിയോളം താഴ്ത്തട്ടെ; പക്ഷെ പ്രത്യാശ ശേഷിക്കും.
He putteth his mouth in the dust; if so be there may be hope.

3 : 30
തന്നെ അടിക്കുന്നവന്നു അവൻ കവിൾ കാണിക്കട്ടെ; അവൻ വേണ്ടുവോളം നിന്ദ അനുഭവിക്കട്ടെ.
He giveth his cheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach.

3 : 31
കർത്താവു എന്നേക്കും തള്ളിക്കളകയില്ലല്ലോ.
For the LORD will not cast off for ever:

3 : 32
അവൻ ദുഃഖിപ്പിച്ചാലും തന്റെ മഹാദയെക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവന്നു കരുണതോന്നും.
But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.

3 : 33
മനസ്സോടെയല്ലല്ലോ അവൻ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരെ ദുഃഖിപ്പിച്ചു വ്യസനിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു.
For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.

3 : 34
ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലബദ്ധന്മാരെയും കാല്കീഴിട്ടു മെതിക്കുന്നതും.
To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth.

3 : 35
അത്യുന്നതന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ മനുഷ്യന്റെ ന്യായം മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നതും.
To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most High,

3 : 36
മനുഷ്യനെ വ്യവഹാരത്തിൽ തെറ്റിച്ചുകളയുന്നതും കർത്താവു കാണുകയില്ലയോ?
To subvert a man in his cause, the LORD approveth not.

3 : 37
കർത്താവു കല്പിക്കാതെ ആർ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടാകുന്നു വല്ലതും സംഭവിക്കുന്നതു?
Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?

3 : 38
അത്യുന്നതന്റെ വായിൽനിന്നു നന്മയും തിന്മയും പുറപ്പെടുന്നില്ലയോ?
Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?

3 : 39
മനുഷ്യൻ ജീവനുള്ളന്നു നെടുവീർപ്പിടുന്നതെന്തു? ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ പാപങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു നെടുവീർപ്പിടട്ടെ.
Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?

3 : 40
നാം നമ്മുടെ നടുപ്പു ആരാഞ്ഞു ശോധനചെയ്തു യഹോവയുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു തിരിയുക.
Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.

3 : 41
നാം കൈകളെയും ഹൃദയത്തെയും സ്വർഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കലേക്കു ഉയർത്തുക.
Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.

3 : 42
ഞങ്ങൾ അതിക്രമം ചെയ്തു മത്സരിച്ചു; നീ ക്ഷമിച്ചതുമില്ല.
We have transgressed and have rebelled: thou hast not pardoned.

3 : 43
നീ കോപം പുതെച്ചു ഞങ്ങളെ പിന്തുടർന്നു, കരുണകൂടാതെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.
Thou hast covered with anger, and persecuted us: thou hast slain, thou hast not pitied.

3 : 44
ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കടക്കാതവണ്ണം നീ മേഘംകൊണ്ടു നിന്നെത്തന്നേ മറെച്ചു.
Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that our prayer should not pass through.

3 : 45
നീ ഞങ്ങളെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ചവറും എച്ചിലും ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
Thou hast made us as the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the people.

3 : 46
ഞങ്ങളുടെ ശത്രുക്കളൊക്കെയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ വായ്പിളർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
All our enemies have opened their mouths against us.

3 : 47
പേടിയും കണിയും ശൂന്യവും നാശവും ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ഭവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
Fear and a snare is come upon us, desolation and destruction.

3 : 48
എന്റെ ജനത്തിൻ പുത്രിയുടെ നാശംനിമിത്തം നീർത്തോടുകൾ എന്റെ കണ്ണിൽനിന്നൊഴുകുന്നു.
Mine eye runneth down with rivers of water for the destruction of the daughter of my people.

3 : 49
യഹോവ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽനിന്നു നോക്കി കടാക്ഷിക്കുവോളം
Mine eye trickleth down, and ceaseth not, without any intermission.

3 : 50
എന്റെ കണ്ണു ഇടവിടാതെ പൊഴിക്കുന്നു; ഇളെക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.
Till the LORD look down, and behold from heaven.

3 : 51
എന്റെ നഗരത്തിലെ സകലസ്ത്രീജനത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു എന്റെ കണ്ണു എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ വ്യസനിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
Mine eye affecteth mine heart because of all the daughters of my city.

3 : 52
കാരണംകൂടാതെ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളായവർ എന്നെ ഒരു പക്ഷിയെപ്പോലെ വേട്ടയാടിയിരിക്കുന്നു;
Mine enemies chased me sore, like a bird, without cause.

3 : 53
അവർ എന്റെ ജീവനെ കുണ്ടറയിൽ ഇട്ടു നശിപ്പിച്ചു, എന്റെ മേൽ കല്ലു എറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
They have cut off my life in the dungeon, and cast a stone upon me.

3 : 54
വെള്ളം എന്റെ തലെക്കുമീതെ കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകി; ഞാൻ നശിച്ചുപോയി എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
Waters flowed over mine head; then I said, I am cut off.

3 : 55
യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ ആഴമുള്ള കുണ്ടറയിൽനിന്നു നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
I called upon thy name, O LORD, out of the low dungeon.

3 : 56
എന്റെ നെടുവീർപ്പിന്നും എന്റെ നിലവിളിക്കും ചെവി പൊത്തിക്കളയരുതേ എന്നുള്ള എന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന നീ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
Thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry.

3 : 57
ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ച നാളിൽ നീ അടുത്തുവന്നു: ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not.

3 : 58
കർത്താവേ, നീ എന്റെ വ്യവഹാരം നടത്തി, എന്റെ ജീവനെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
O LORD, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life.

3 : 59
യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ അനുഭവിച്ച അന്യായം നീ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ വ്യവഹാരം തീർത്തുതരേണമേ.
O LORD, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my cause.

3 : 60
അവർ ചെയ്ത സകലപ്രതികാരവും എനിക്കു വിരോധമായുള്ള അവരുടെ സകലനിരൂപണങ്ങളും നീ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
Thou hast seen all their vengeance and all their imaginations against me.

3 : 61
യഹോവേ, അവരുടെ നിന്ദയും എനിക്കു വിരോധമായുള്ള അവരുടെ സകലനിരൂപണങ്ങളും
Thou hast heard their reproach, O LORD, and all their imaginations against me;

3 : 62
എന്റെ എതിരികളുടെ വാക്കുകളും ഇടവിടാതെ എനിക്കു വിരോധമായുള്ള നിനവും നീ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
The lips of those that rose up against me, and their device against me all the day.

3 : 63
അവരുടെ ഇരിപ്പും എഴുന്നേല്പും നോക്കേണമേ; ഞാൻ അവരുടെ പാട്ടായിരിക്കുന്നു.
Behold their sitting down, and their rising up; I am their musick.

3 : 64
യഹോവേ, അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം അവർക്കു പകരം ചെയ്യേണമേ;
Render unto them a recompence, O LORD, according to the work of their hands.

3 : 65
നീ അവർക്കു ഹൃദയകാഠിന്യം വരുത്തും; നിന്റെ ശാപം അവർക്കു വരട്ടെ.
Give them sorrow of heart, thy curse unto them.

3 : 66
നീ അവരെ കോപത്തോടെ പിന്തുടർന്നു, യഹോവയുടെ ആകാശത്തിൻ കീഴിൽനിന്നു നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.
Persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD.
