6 : 1
മക്കളേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാരെ കർത്താവിൽ അനുസരിപ്പിൻ; അതു ന്യായമല്ലോ.
Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

6 : 2
“നിനക്കു നന്മ ഉണ്ടാകുവാനും നീ ഭൂമിയിൽ ദീർഘായുസ്സോടിരിപ്പാനും
Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;

6 : 3
നിന്റെ അപ്പനെയും അമ്മയെയും ബഹുമാനിക്ക” എന്നതു വാഗ്ദത്തത്തോടുകൂടിയ ആദ്യകല്പന ആകുന്നു.
That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

6 : 4
പിതാക്കന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെ കോപിപ്പിക്കാതെ കർത്താവിന്റെ ബാലശിക്ഷയിലും പാത്ഥ്യോപദേശത്തിലും പോറ്റി വളർത്തുവിൻ.
And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

6 : 5
ദാസന്മാരേ, ജഡപ്രകാരം യജമാനന്മാരായവരെ ക്രിസ്തുവിനെപ്പോലെ തന്നേ ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ ഏകാഗ്രതയിൽ ഭയത്തോടും വിറയലോടും കൂടെ അനുസരിപ്പിൻ.
Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

6 : 6
മനുഷ്യരെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നവരെപ്പോലെ ദൃഷ്ടിസേവയാൽ അല്ല, ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ദാസന്മാരെപ്പോലെ ദൈവേഷ്ടം മനസ്സോടെ ചെയ്തും
Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

6 : 7
മനുഷ്യരെയല്ല കർത്താവിനെ തന്നേ പ്രീതിയോടെ സേവിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു അനുസരിപ്പിൻ.
With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

6 : 8
ദാസനോ സ്വതന്ത്രനോ ഓരോരുത്തൻ ചെയ്യുന്ന നന്മെക്കു കർത്താവിൽ നിന്നു പ്രതിഫലം പ്രാപിക്കും എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.
Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

6 : 9
യജമാനന്മാരേ, അവരുടെയും നിങ്ങളുടെയും യജമാനൻ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടെന്നും അവന്റെ പക്കൽ മുഖപക്ഷം ഇല്ലെന്നും അറിഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടു അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ അവരോടു പെരുമാറുകയും ഭീഷണിവാക്കു ഒഴിക്കയും ചെയ്‍വിൻ.
And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.

6 : 10
ഒടുവിൽ കർത്താവിലും അവന്റെ അമിത ബലത്തിലും ശക്തിപ്പെടുവിൻ.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

6 : 11
പിശാചിന്റെ തന്ത്രങ്ങളോടു എതിർത്തുനില്പാൻ കഴിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സർവ്വായുധവർഗ്ഗം ധരിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

6 : 12
നമുക്കു പോരാട്ടം ഉള്ളതു ജഡരക്തങ്ങളോടല്ല, വാഴ്ചകളോടും അധികാരങ്ങളോടും ഈ അന്ധകാരത്തിന്റെ ലോകാധിപതികളോടും സ്വർല്ലോകങ്ങളിലെ ദുഷ്ടാത്മസേനയോടും അത്രേ.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

6 : 13
അതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ ദുർദ്ദിവസത്തിൽ എതിർപ്പാനും സകലവും സമാപിച്ചിട്ടു ഉറെച്ചു നില്പാനും കഴിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സർവ്വായുധവർഗ്ഗം എടുത്തുകൊൾവിൻ.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

6 : 14
നിങ്ങളുടെ അരെക്കു സത്യം കെട്ടിയും നീതി എന്ന കവചം ധരിച്ചും
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

6 : 15
സമാധാനസുവിശേഷത്തിന്നായുള്ള ഒരുക്കം
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

6 : 16
കാലിന്നു ചെരിപ്പാക്കിയും എല്ലാറ്റിന്നും മീതെ ദുഷ്ടന്റെ തീയമ്പുകളെ ഒക്കെയും കെടുക്കുവാന്തക്കതായ വിശ്വാസം എന്ന പരിച എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടും നില്പിൻ.
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

6 : 17
രക്ഷ എന്ന ശിരസ്ത്രവും ദൈവവചനം എന്ന ആത്മാവിന്റെ വാളും കൈക്കൊൾവിൻ.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

6 : 18
സകലപ്രാർത്ഥനയാലും യാചനയാലും ഏതു നേരത്തും ആത്മാവിൽ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചും അതിന്നായി ജാഗരിച്ചും കൊണ്ടു സകലവിശുദ്ധന്മാർക്കും എനിക്കും വേണ്ടി പ്രാർത്ഥനയിൽ പൂർണ്ണസ്ഥിരത കാണിപ്പിൻ.
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

6 : 19
ഞാൻ ചങ്ങല ധരിച്ചു സ്ഥാനാപതിയായി സേവിക്കുന്ന സുവിശേഷത്തിന്റെ മർമ്മം പ്രാഗത്ഭ്യത്തോടെ അറിയിപ്പാൻ എന്റെ വായി തുറക്കുമ്പോൾ എനിക്കു വചനം നല്കപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നും
And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

6 : 20
ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കേണ്ടുംവണ്ണം അതിൽ പ്രാഗത്ഭ്യത്തോടെ സംസാരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും പ്രാർത്ഥിപ്പിൻ.
For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

6 : 21
ഞാൻ എങ്ങനെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു എന്റെ അവസ്ഥ നിങ്ങളും അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു പ്രിയ സഹോദരനും കർത്താവിൽ വിശ്വസ്ത ശുശ്രൂഷകനുമായ തിഹിക്കോസ് നിങ്ങളോടു സകലവും അറിയിക്കും.
But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:

6 : 22
നിങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങളുടെ വസ്തുത അറിവാനും അവൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിപ്പാനുമായി ഞാൻ അവനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.

6 : 23
പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കൽനിന്നും കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിങ്കൽ നിന്നും സഹോദരന്മാർക്കു സമാധാനവും വിശ്വാസത്തോടുകൂടിയ സ്നേഹവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.
Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

6 : 24
നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനെ അക്ഷയമായി സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരോടും കൂടെ കൃപ ഇരിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ.
Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
