35 : 1
അനന്തരം യോശീയാവു യെരൂശലേമിൽ യഹോവെക്കു ഒരു പെസഹ ആചരിച്ചു ഒന്നാം മാസം പതിനാലാം തിയ്യതി അവർ പെസഹ അറുത്തു.
Moreover Josiah kept a passover unto the LORD in Jerusalem: and they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month.

35 : 2
അവൻ പുരോഹിതന്മാരെ താന്താങ്ങളുടെ വേലെക്കു നിർത്തി; യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലെ ശുശ്രൂഷെക്കായി അവരെ ധൈര്യപ്പെടുത്തി.
And he set the priests in their charges, and encouraged them to the service of the house of the LORD,

35 : 3
അവൻ എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിന്നും ഉപാദ്ധ്യായന്മാരും യഹോവെക്കു വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുമായ ലേവ്യരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: യിസ്രായേൽരാജാവായ ദാവീദിന്റെ മകൻ ശലോമോൻ പണിത ആലയത്തിൽ വിശുദ്ധപെട്ടകം വെപ്പിൻ; ഇനി അതു നിങ്ങളുടെ തോളുകൾക്കു ഭാരമായിരിക്കരുതു; നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെയും അവന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിനെയും സേവിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.
And said unto the Levites that taught all Israel, which were holy unto the LORD, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build; it shall not be a burden upon your shoulders: serve now the LORD your God, and his people Israel,

35 : 4
യിസ്രായേൽരാജാവായ ദാവീദിന്റെയും അവന്റെ മകനായ ശലോമോന്റെയും എഴുത്തുകളിൽ കാണുംപോലെ പിതൃഭവനം പിതൃഭവനമായും കൂറുക്കുറായി നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ക്രമപ്പെടുത്തുവിൻ.
And prepare yourselves by the houses of your fathers, after your courses, according to the writing of David king of Israel, and according to the writing of Solomon his son.

35 : 5
നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ ജനത്തിന്റെ പിതൃഭവനവിഭാഗം അനുസരിച്ചു ഓരോന്നിന്നു ലേവ്യരുടെ ഓരോ പിതൃഭവനഭാഗം വരുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിങ്കൽ നിന്നുകൊൾവിൻ.
And stand in the holy place according to the divisions of the families of the fathers of your brethren the people, and after the division of the families of the Levites.

35 : 6
ഇങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾ പെസഹ അറുത്തു നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കയും മോശെമുഖാന്തരം ഉണ്ടായ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാർ അനുസരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരെ ഒരുക്കുകയും ചെയ്‍വിൻ.
So kill the passover, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare your brethren, that they may do according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

35 : 7
യോശീയാവു അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന എല്ലാവർക്കും വേണ്ടി പെസഹ യാഗങ്ങൾക്കായിട്ടു രാജാവിന്റെ വക ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടത്തിൽനിന്നു ആകെ മുപ്പതിനായിരം കുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും വെള്ളാട്ടിൻ കുട്ടിയെയും മൂവായിരം കാളയെയും ജനത്തിന്നു കൊടുത്തു.
And Josiah gave to the people, of the flock, lambs and kids, all for the passover offerings, for all that were present, to the number of thirty thousand, and three thousand bullocks: these were of the king's substance.

35 : 8
അവന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും ജനത്തിന്നും പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കും ലേവ്യർക്കും ഔദാര്യത്തോടെ കൊടുത്തു; ദൈവാലയപ്രാമണികളായ ഹിൽക്കീയാവും സെഖർയ്യാവും യെഹീയേലും പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കു പെസഹയാഗങ്ങൾക്കായിട്ടു രണ്ടായിരത്തറുനൂറു കുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും മുന്നൂറു കാളയെയും കൊടുത്തു.
And his princes gave willingly unto the people, to the priests, and to the Levites: Hilkiah and Zechariah and Jehiel, rulers of the house of God, gave unto the priests for the passover offerings two thousand and six hundred small cattle and three hundred oxen.

35 : 9
കോനന്യാവും അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ ശെമയ്യാവും നെഥനയേലും ലേവ്യരുടെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരായ ഹസബ്യാവും യെഹീയേലും യോസാബാദും ലേവ്യർക്കു പെസഹയാഗങ്ങൾക്കായിട്ടു അയ്യായിരം കുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും അഞ്ഞൂറു കാളയെയും കൊടുത്തു.
Conaniah also, and Shemaiah and Nethaneel, his brethren, and Hashabiah and Jeiel and Jozabad, chief of the Levites, gave unto the Levites for passover offerings five thousand small cattle, and five hundred oxen.

35 : 10
ഇങ്ങനെ ശുശ്രൂഷക്രമത്തിലായി; രാജകല്പനപ്രകാരം പുരോഹിതന്മാർ തങ്ങളുടെ സ്ഥാനത്തും ലേവ്യർ കൂറുക്കുറായും നിന്നു.
So the service was prepared, and the priests stood in their place, and the Levites in their courses, according to the king's commandment.

35 : 11
അവൻ പെസഹ അറുത്തു; പുരോഹിതന്മാർ അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു രക്തം വാങ്ങി തളിക്കയും ലേവ്യർ തോലുരിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.
And they killed the passover, and the priests sprinkled the blood from their hands, and the Levites flayed them.

35 : 12
പിന്നെ മോശെയുടെ പുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതു പോലെ യഹോവെക്കു അർപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർ ജനത്തിന്റെ പിതൃഭവനവിഭാഗം അനുസരിച്ചു കൊടുപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ഹോമയാഗത്തെയും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ കാളകളെയും നീക്കിവെച്ചു.
And they removed the burnt offerings, that they might give according to the divisions of the families of the people, to offer unto the LORD, as it is written in the book of Moses. And so did they with the oxen.

35 : 13
അവർ വിധിപോലെ പെസഹയെ തീയിൽ ചുട്ടു; നിവേദിതങ്ങളെ കലങ്ങളിലും കുട്ടകങ്ങളിലും ചട്ടികളിലും വേവിച്ചു സർവ്വജനത്തിന്നും വേഗത്തിൽ വിളമ്പിക്കൊടുത്തു.
And they roasted the passover with fire according to the ordinance: but the other holy offerings sod they in pots, and in caldrons, and in pans, and divided them speedily among all the people.

35 : 14
പിന്നെ അവർ തങ്ങൾക്കും പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കും വേണ്ടി ഒരുക്കി; അഹരോന്യരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാർ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളും മേദസ്സും അർപ്പിക്കുന്നതിൽ രാത്രിവരെ അദ്ധ്വാനിച്ചിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ലേവ്യർ തങ്ങൾക്കും അഹരോന്യരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കും വേണ്ടി ഒരുക്കി.
And afterward they made ready for themselves, and for the priests: because the priests the sons of Aaron were busied in offering of burnt offerings and the fat until night; therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the priests the sons of Aaron.

35 : 15
ആസാഹ്യരായ സംഗീതക്കാർ ദാവീദിന്റെയും ആസാഫിന്റെയും ഹേമാന്റെയും രാജാവിന്റെയും ദർശകനായ യെദൂഥൂന്റെയും കല്പനപ്രകാരം തങ്ങളുടെ സ്ഥാനത്തും വാതിൽകാവൽക്കാർ അതതു വാതിൽക്കലും നിന്നു; അവർക്കു തങ്ങളുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷ വിട്ടുപോകുവാൻ ആവശ്യമില്ലായിരുന്നു; അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ ലേവ്യർ അവർക്കു ഒരുക്കിക്കൊടുത്തു.
And the singers the sons of Asaph were in their place, according to the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king's seer; and the porters waited at every gate; they might not depart from their service; for their brethren the Levites prepared for them.

35 : 16
ഇങ്ങനെ യോശീയാരാജാവിന്റെ കല്പനപ്രകാരം പെസഹ ആചരിപ്പാനും യഹോവയുടെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങൾ അർപ്പിപ്പാനും വേണ്ടിയുള്ള യഹോവയുടെ സകലശുശ്രൂഷയും അന്നു ക്രമത്തിലായി.
So all the service of the LORD was prepared the same day, to keep the passover, and to offer burnt offerings upon the altar of the LORD, according to the commandment of king Josiah.

35 : 17
അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കൾ ആ സമയത്തു പെസഹയും പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ ഉത്സവവും ഏഴു ദിവസം ആചരിച്ചു.
And the children of Israel that were present kept the passover at that time, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days.

35 : 18
ശമൂവേൽപ്രവാചകന്റെ കാലംമുതൽ യിസ്രായേലിൽ ഇതുപോലെ ഒരു പെസഹ ആചരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; യോശീയാവും പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന എല്ലായെഹൂദയും യിസ്രായേലും യെരൂശലേംനിവാസികളും ആചരിച്ച ഈ പെസഹപോലെ യിസ്രായേൽരാജാക്കന്മാരാരും ആചരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.
And there was no passover like to that kept in Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet; neither did all the kings of Israel keep such a passover as Josiah kept, and the priests, and the Levites, and all Judah and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

35 : 19
യോശീയാവിന്റെ വാഴ്ചയുടെ പതിനെട്ടാം ആണ്ടിൽ ഈ പെസഹ ആചരിച്ചു.
In the eighteenth year of the reign of Josiah was this passover kept.

35 : 20
യോശീയാവു ദൈവാലയത്തെ യഥാസ്ഥാനത്താക്കുക മുതലായ ഈ കാര്യങ്ങളൊക്കെയും കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം മിസ്രയീംരാജാവായ നെഖോഫ്രാത്തിന്നു സമീപത്തുള്ള കക്കെമീശ് ആക്രമിപ്പാൻ പോകുമ്പോൾ യോശീയാവു അവന്റെ നേരെ പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
After all this, when Josiah had prepared the temple, Necho king of Egypt came up to fight against Charchemish by Euphrates: and Josiah went out against him.

35 : 21
എന്നാൽ അവൻ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ദൂതന്മാരെ അയച്ചു: യെഹൂദാരാജാവേ, എനിക്കും നിനക്കും തമ്മിൽ എന്തു? ഞാൻ ഇന്നു നിന്റെ നേരെ അല്ല, എനിക്കു യുദ്ധമുള്ള ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ നേരെയത്രേ പുറപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതു; ദൈവം എന്നോടു ബദ്ധപ്പെടുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ പക്ഷത്തിലുള്ള ദൈവം നിന്നെ നശിപ്പിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനോടു ഇടപെടരുതു എന്നു പറയിച്ചു.
But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with thee, thou king of Judah? I come not against thee this day, but against the house wherewith I have war: for God commanded me to make haste: forbear thee from meddling with God, who is with me, that he destroy thee not.

35 : 22
എങ്കിലും യോശീയാവു വിട്ടുതിരിയാതെ അവനോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു വേഷംമാറി; നെഖോ പറഞ്ഞ ദൈവവചനങ്ങളെ കേൾക്കാതെ അവൻ മെഗിദ്ദോതാഴ്വരയിൽ യുദ്ധം ചെയ്‍വാൻ ചെന്നു.
Nevertheless Josiah would not turn his face from him, but disguised himself, that he might fight with him, and hearkened not unto the words of Necho from the mouth of God, and came to fight in the valley of Megiddo.

35 : 23
വില്ലാളികൾ യോശീയാരാജാവിനെ എയ്തു; രാജാവു തന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരോടു: എന്നെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുവിൻ; ഞാൻ കഠിനമായി മുറിവേറ്റിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
And the archers shot at king Josiah; and the king said to his servants, Have me away; for I am sore wounded.

35 : 24
അങ്ങനെ അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാർ അവനെ രഥത്തിൽനിന്നിറക്കി അവന്റെ രണ്ടാം രഥത്തിൽ ആക്കി യെരൂശലേമിൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; അവൻ മരിച്ചു; അവന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ഒരു കല്ലറയിൽ അവനെ അടക്കം ചെയ്തു. എല്ലായെഹൂദയും യെരൂശലേമും യോശീയാവെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലപിച്ചു.
His servants therefore took him out of that chariot, and put him in the second chariot that he had; and they brought him to Jerusalem, and he died, and was buried in one of the sepulchres of his fathers. And all Judah and Jerusalem mourned for Josiah.

35 : 25
യിരെമ്യാവും യോശീയാവെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലപിച്ചു; സകലസംഗീതക്കാരും സംഗീതക്കാരത്തികളും ഇന്നുവരെ അവരുടെ വിലാപങ്ങളിൽ യോശീയാവെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു. യിസ്രായേലിൽ അതു ഒരു ചട്ടമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവ വിലാപങ്ങളിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
And Jeremiah lamented for Josiah: and all the singing men and the singing women spake of Josiah in their lamentations to this day, and made them an ordinance in Israel: and, behold, they are written in the lamentations.

35 : 26
യോശീയാവിന്റെ മറ്റുള്ള വൃത്താന്തങ്ങളും യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നപ്രകാരമുള്ള അവന്റെ സൽപ്രവൃത്തികളും ആദ്യവസാനം അവന്റെ ചരിത്രവും യിസ്രായേലിലെയും യെഹൂദയിലെയും രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ പുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
Now the rest of the acts of Josiah, and his goodness, according to that which was written in the law of the LORD,
