3 : 1
പരീശന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ ഒരു പ്രമാണിയായി നിക്കോദേമൊസ് എന്നു പേരുള്ളോരു മനുഷ്യൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

3 : 2
അവൻ രാത്രിയിൽ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു അവനോടു: റബ്ബീ, നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ നിന്നു ഉപദേഷ്ടാവായി വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നു; ദൈവം തന്നോടു കൂടെ ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ നീ ചെയ്യുന്ന ഈ അടയാളങ്ങളെ ചെയ്‍വാൻ ആർക്കും കഴികയില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

3 : 3
യേശു അവനോടു: “ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു പറയുന്നു; പുതുതായി ജനിച്ചില്ല എങ്കിൽ ദൈവരാജ്യം കാണ്മാൻ ആർക്കും കഴിയകയില്ല ” എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

3 : 4
നിക്കോദെമൊസ് അവനോടു: മനുഷ്യൻ വൃദ്ധനായശേഷം ജനിക്കുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ? രണ്ടാമതും അമ്മയുടെ ഉദരത്തിൽ കടന്നു ജനിക്കാമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

3 : 5
അതിന്നു യേശു: “ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു പറയുന്നു: വെള്ളത്താലും ആത്മാവിനാലും ജനിച്ചില്ല എങ്കിൽ ദൈവരാജ്യത്തിൽ കടപ്പാൻ ആർക്കും കഴികയില്ല.
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

3 : 6
ജഡത്താൽ ജനിച്ചതു ജഡം ആകുന്നു; ആത്മാവിനാൽ ജനിച്ചതു ആത്മാവു ആകുന്നു.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

3 : 7
നിങ്ങൾ പുതുതായി ജനിക്കേണം എന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു പറകയാൽ ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെടരുതു.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

3 : 8
കാറ്റു ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളേടത്തു ഊതുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ശബ്ദം നീ കേൾക്കുന്നു; എങ്കിലും അതു എവിടെനിന്നു വരുന്നു എന്നും എവിടേക്കു പോകുന്നു എന്നും അറിയുന്നില്ല; ആത്മാവിനാൽ ജനിച്ചവൻ എല്ലാം അതുപോലെ ആകുന്നു” എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

3 : 9
നിക്കോദേമൊസ് അവനോടു: ഇതു എങ്ങനെ സംഭവിക്കും എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?

3 : 10
യേശു അവനോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: “നീ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഉപദേഷ്ടാവായിരുന്നിട്ടും ഇതു അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ?
Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

3 : 11
ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു പറയുന്നു: ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നതു പ്രസ്താവിക്കയും കണ്ടതു സാക്ഷീകരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞങ്ങളുടെ സാക്ഷ്യം നിങ്ങൾ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നില്ലതാനും.
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

3 : 12
ഭൂമിയിലുള്ളതു നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു നിങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലുള്ളതു നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞാൽ എങ്ങനെ വിശ്വസിക്കും?
If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

3 : 13
സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവന്ന (വനായി സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവനായ) മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ അല്ലാതെ ആരും സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ കയറീട്ടില്ല.
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

3 : 14
മോശെ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ സർപ്പത്തെ ഉയർത്തിയതുപോലെ മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെയും ഉയർത്തേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

3 : 15
അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ഏവനും നിത്യജീവൻ പ്രാപിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

3 : 16
തന്റെ ഏകജാതനായ പുത്രനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ഏവനും നശിച്ചുപോകാതെ നിത്യജീവൻ പ്രാപിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ദൈവം അവനെ നല്കുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ലോകത്തെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

3 : 17
ദൈവം തന്റെ പുത്രനെ ലോകത്തിൽ അയച്ചതു ലോകത്തെ വിധിപ്പാനല്ല ലോകം അവനാൽ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുവാനത്രേ.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

3 : 18
അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവന്നു ന്യായവിധി ഇല്ല; വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തവന്നു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഏകജതാനായ പുത്രന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കായ്കയാൽ ന്യായവിധി വന്നുകഴിഞ്ഞു.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

3 : 19
ന്യായവിധി എന്നതോ, വെളിച്ചം ലോകത്തിൽ വന്നിട്ടും മനുഷ്യരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തി ദോഷമുള്ളതു ആകയാൽ അവർ വെളിച്ചത്തെക്കാൾ ഇരുളിനെ സ്നേഹിച്ചതു തന്നേ.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

3 : 20
തിന്മ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവൻ എല്ലാം വെളിച്ചത്തെ പകെക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു ആക്ഷേപം വരാതിരിപ്പാൻ വെളിച്ചത്തിങ്കലേക്കു വരുന്നതുമില്ല.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

3 : 21
സത്യം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവനോ, തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി ദൈവത്തിൽ ചെയ്തിരിക്കയാൽ അതു വെളിപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു വെളിച്ചത്തിങ്കലേക്കു വരുന്നു.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

3 : 22
അതിന്റെ ശേഷം യേശു ശിഷ്യന്മാരുമായി യെഹൂദ്യദേശത്തു വന്നു അവരോടുകൂടെ സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.

3 : 23
യോഹന്നാനും ശലേമിന്നു അരികത്തു ഐനോനിൽ സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; അവിടെ വളരെ വെള്ളം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ആളുകൾ വന്നു സ്നാനം ഏറ്റു.
And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.

3 : 24
അന്നു യോഹന്നാനെ തടവിൽ ആക്കിയിരുന്നില്ല.
For John was not yet cast into prison.

3 : 25
യോഹന്നാന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരിൽ ചിലർക്കു ഒരു യെഹൂദനുമായി ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു വാദം ഉണ്ടായി;
Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.

3 : 26
അവർ യോഹന്നാന്റെ അടുക്കൽവന്നു അവനോടു: റബ്ബീ, യോർദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നവൻ, നീ സാക്ഷീകരിച്ചുട്ടുള്ളവൻ തന്നേ, ഇതാ, സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; എല്ലാവരും അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെല്ലുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.

3 : 27
അതിന്നു യോഹന്നാൻ: സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ നിന്നു കൊടുത്തിട്ടല്ലാതെ മനുഷ്യന്നു ഒന്നും ലഭിപ്പാൻ കഴികയില്ല.
John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.

3 : 28
ഞാൻ ക്രിസ്തു അല്ല, അവന്നു മുമ്പായി അയക്കപ്പെട്ടവനത്രേ എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞതിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ തന്നേ എനിക്കു സാക്ഷികൾ ആകുന്നു;
Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.

3 : 29
മണവാട്ടി ഉള്ളവൻ മണവാളൻ ആകുന്നു; മണവാളന്റെ സ്നേഹിതനോ നിന്നു മണവാളന്റെ സ്വരം കേട്ടിട്ടു അത്യന്തം സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു; ഈ എന്റെ സന്തോഷം പൂർത്തിയായിരിക്കുന്നു.
He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

3 : 30
അവൻ വളരേണം, ഞാനോ കുറയേണം എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
He must increase, but I must decrease.

3 : 31
മേലിൽ നിന്നു വരുന്നവൻ എല്ലാവർക്കും മീതെയുള്ളവൻ; ഭൂമിയിൽ നിന്നുള്ളവൻ ഭൌമികൻ ആകുന്നു; ഭൌമികമായതു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽനിന്നു വരുന്നവൻ എല്ലാവർക്കും മീതെയുള്ളവനായി താൻ കാൺകെയും കേൾക്കയും ചെയ്തതു സാക്ഷീകരിക്കുന്നു;
He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.

3 : 32
അവന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യം ആരും കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നില്ല.
And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.

3 : 33
അവന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യം കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവൻ ദൈവം സത്യവാൻ എന്നുള്ളതിന്നു മുദ്രയിടുന്നു.
He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.

3 : 34
ദൈവം അയച്ചവൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വചനം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ ആത്മാവിനെ അളവുകൂടാതെയല്ലോ കൊടുക്കുന്നതു.
For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

3 : 35
പിതാവു പുത്രനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു; സകലവും അവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ കൊടുത്തുമിരിക്കുന്നു.
The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

3 : 36
പുത്രനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവന്നു നിത്യജീവൻ ഉണ്ടു; പുത്രനെ അനുസരിക്കാത്തവനോ ജീവനെ കാണുകയില്ല; ദൈവക്രോധം അവന്റെമേൽ വസിക്കുന്നതേയുള്ള.
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
