21 : 1
രാജാവിന്റെ ഹൃദയം യഹോവയുടെ കയ്യിൽ നീർത്തോടുകണക്കെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; തനിക്കു ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളേടത്തേക്കൊക്കെയും അവൻ അതിനെ തിരിക്കുന്നു.
The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

21 : 2
മനുഷ്യന്റെ വഴി ഒക്കെയും അവന്നു ചൊവ്വായിത്തോന്നുന്നു; യഹോവയോ ഹൃദയങ്ങളെ തൂക്കിനോക്കുന്നു.
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.

21 : 3
നീതിയും ന്യായവും പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതു യഹോവെക്കു ഹനനയാഗത്തെക്കാൾ ഇഷ്ടം.
To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

21 : 4
ഗർവ്വമുള്ള കണ്ണും അഹങ്കാരഹൃദയവും ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ ദീപവും പാപം തന്നേ.
An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.

21 : 5
ഉത്സാഹിയുടെ വിചാരങ്ങൾ സമൃദ്ധിഹേതുകങ്ങൾ ആകുന്നു; ബദ്ധപ്പാടുകാരൊക്കെയും ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടിലേക്കത്രേ ബദ്ധപ്പെടുന്നതു.
The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.

21 : 6
കള്ളനാവുകൊണ്ടു ധനം സമ്പാദിക്കുന്നതു പാറിപ്പോകുന്ന ആവിയാകുന്നു; അതിനെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവർ മരണത്തെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു.
The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death.

21 : 7
ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ സാഹസം അവർക്കു നാശഹേതുവാകുന്നു; ന്യായം ചെയ്‍വാൻ അവർക്കു മനസ്സില്ലല്ലോ.
The robbery of the wicked shall destroy them; because they refuse to do judgment.

21 : 8
അകൃത്യഭാരം ചുമക്കുന്നവന്റെ വഴി വളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; നിർമ്മലന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയോ ചൊവ്വുള്ളതു തന്നേ.
The way of man is froward and strange: but as for the pure, his work is right.

21 : 9
ശണ്ഠകൂടുന്ന സ്ത്രീയോടുകൂടെ പൊതുവീട്ടിൽ പാർക്കുന്നതിനെക്കാൾ മേൽപുരയുടെ ഒരു കോണിൽ പാർക്കുന്നതു നല്ലതു.
It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house.

21 : 10
ദുഷ്ടന്റെ മനസ്സു ദോഷത്തെ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു; അവന്നു കൂട്ടുകാരനോടു ദയ തോന്നുന്നതുമില്ല.
The soul of the wicked desireth evil: his neighbour findeth no favour in his eyes.

21 : 11
പരിഹാസിയെ ശിക്ഷിച്ചാൽ അല്പബുദ്ധി ജ്ഞാനിയായ്തീരും; ജ്ഞാനിയെ ഉപദേശിച്ചാൽ അവൻ പരിജ്ഞാനം പ്രാപിക്കും.
When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.

21 : 12
നീതിമാനായവൻ ദുഷ്ടന്റെ ഭവനത്തിന്മേൽ ദൃഷ്ടിവെക്കുന്നു; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരെ നാശത്തിലേക്കു മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.
The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked: but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness.

21 : 13
എളിയവന്റെ നിലവിളിക്കു ചെവി പൊത്തിക്കളയുന്നവൻ താനും വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും; ഉത്തരം ലഭിക്കയില്ല.
Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.

21 : 14
രഹസ്യത്തിൽ ചെയ്യുന്ന ദാനം കോപത്തെയും മടിയിൽ കൊണ്ടുവരുന്ന സമ്മാനം ഉഗ്രകോപത്തെയും ശമിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
A gift in secret pacifieth anger: and a reward in the bosom strong wrath.

21 : 15
ന്യായം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതു നീതിമാന്നു സന്തോഷവും ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാർക്കു ഭയങ്കരവും ആകുന്നു.
It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.

21 : 16
വിവേകമാർഗ്ഗം വിട്ടുനടക്കുന്നവൻ മൃതന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ വിശ്രമിക്കും.
The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.

21 : 17
ഉല്ലാസപ്രിയൻ ദരിദ്രനായ്തീരും; വീഞ്ഞും തൈലവും പ്രിയപ്പെടുന്നവൻ ധനവാനാകയില്ല.
He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich.

21 : 18
ദുഷ്ടൻ നീതിമാന്നു മറുവിലയാകും; ദ്രോഹി നേരുള്ളവർക്കും പകരമായ്തീരും.
The wicked shall be a ransom for the righteous, and the transgressor for the upright.

21 : 19
ശണ്ഠയും ദുശ്ശീലവുമുള്ള സ്ത്രീയോടുകൂടെ പാർക്കുന്നതിലും നിർജ്ജനപ്രദേശത്തു പോയി പാർക്കുന്നതു നല്ലതു.
It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.

21 : 20
ജ്ഞാനിയുടെ പാർപ്പിടത്തിൽ വിലയേറിയ നിക്ഷേപവും തൈലവും ഉണ്ടു; മൂഢനോ അവയെ ദുർവ്യയം ചെയ്തുകളയുന്നു.
There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.

21 : 21
നീതിയും ദയയും പിന്തുടരുന്നവൻ ജീവനും നീതിയും മാനവും കണ്ടെത്തും.
He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.

21 : 22
ജ്ഞാനി വീരന്മാരുടെ പട്ടണത്തിൽ കയറുകയും അതിന്റെ ആശ്രയമായ കോട്ടയെ ഇടിച്ചുകളകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
A wise man scaleth the city of the mighty, and casteth down the strength of the confidence thereof.

21 : 23
വായും നാവും സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നവൻ തന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കഷ്ടങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.

21 : 24
നിഗളവും ഗർവ്വവും ഉള്ളവന്നു പരിഹാസി എന്നു പേർ; അവൻ ഗർവ്വത്തിന്റെ അഹങ്കാരത്തോടെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു.
Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who dealeth in proud wrath.

21 : 25
മടിയന്റെ കൊതി അവന്നു മരണഹേതു; വേലചെയ്‍വാൻ അവന്റെ കൈകൾ മടിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour.

21 : 26
ചിലർ നിത്യം അത്യാഗ്രഹത്തോടെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; നീതിമാനോ ലോഭിക്കാതെ കൊടുത്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not.

21 : 27
ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ ഹനനയാഗം വെറുപ്പാകുന്നു; അവൻ ദുരാന്തരത്തോടെ അതു അർപ്പിച്ചാൽ എത്ര അധികം!
The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when he bringeth it with a wicked mind?

21 : 28
കള്ളസ്സാക്ഷി നശിച്ചുപോകും; ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകേൾക്കുന്നവന്നോ എപ്പോഴും സംസാരിക്കാം.
A false witness shall perish: but the man that heareth speaketh constantly.

21 : 29
ദുഷ്ടൻ മുഖധാർഷ്ട്യം കാണിക്കുന്നു; നേരുള്ളവനോ തന്റെ വഴി നന്നാക്കുന്നു.
A wicked man hardeneth his face: but as for the upright, he directeth his way.

21 : 30
യഹോവെക്കെതിരെ ജ്ഞാനവുമില്ല, ബുദ്ധിയുമില്ല, ആലോചനയുമില്ല.
There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.

21 : 31
കുതിരയെ യുദ്ധദിവസത്തേക്കു ചമയിക്കുന്നു; ജയമോ യഹോവയുടെ കൈവശത്തിലിരിക്കുന്നു.
The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.
