15 : 1
മൃദുവായ ഉത്തരം ക്രോധത്തെ ശമിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; കഠിനവാക്കോ കോപത്തെ ജ്വലിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

15 : 2
ജ്ഞാനിയുടെ നാവു നല്ല പരിജ്ഞാനം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു. മൂഢന്മാരുടെ വായോ ഭോഷത്വം പൊഴിക്കുന്നു.
The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.

15 : 3
യഹോവയുടെ കണ്ണു എല്ലാടവും ഉണ്ടു; ആകാത്തവരെയും നല്ലവരെയും നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

15 : 4
നാവിന്റെ ശാന്തത ജീവവൃക്ഷം; അതിന്റെ വക്രതയോ മനോവ്യസനം.
A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.

15 : 5
ഭോഷൻ അപ്പന്റെ പ്രബോധനം നിരസിക്കുന്നു; ശാസനയെ കൂട്ടാക്കുന്നവനോ വിവേകിയായ്തീരും.
A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.

15 : 6
നീതിമാന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ വളരെ നിക്ഷേപം ഉണ്ടു; ദുഷ്ടന്റെ ആദായത്തിലോ അനർത്ഥം.
In the house of the righteous is much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble.

15 : 7
ജ്ഞാനികളുടെ അധരങ്ങൾ പരിജ്ഞാനം വിതറുന്നു; മൂഢന്മാരുടെ ഹൃദയമോ നേരുള്ളതല്ല.
The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so.

15 : 8
ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ യാഗം യഹോവെക്കു വെറുപ്പു; നേരുള്ളവരുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥനയോ അവന്നു പ്രസാദം.
The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

15 : 9
ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ വഴി യഹോവെക്കു വെറുപ്പു; എന്നാൽ നീതിയെ പിന്തുടരുന്നവനെ അവൻ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.
The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.

15 : 10
സന്മാർഗ്ഗം ത്യജിക്കുന്നവന്നു കഠിനശിക്ഷ വരും; ശാസന വെറുക്കുന്നവൻ മരിക്കും.
Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die.

15 : 11
പാതാളവും നരകവും യഹോവയുടെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങൾ എത്ര അധികം!
Hell and destruction are before the LORD: how much more then the hearts of the children of men?

15 : 12
പരിഹാസി ശാസന ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നില്ല; ജ്ഞാനികളുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെല്ലുന്നതുമില്ല.
A scorner loveth not one that reproveth him: neither will he go unto the wise.

15 : 13
സന്തോഷമുള്ള ഹൃദയം മുഖപ്രസാദമുണ്ടാക്കുന്നു; ഹൃദയത്തിലെ വ്യസനംകൊണ്ടോ ധൈര്യം ക്ഷയിക്കുന്നു.
A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

15 : 14
വിവേകമുള്ളവന്റെ ഹൃദയം പരിജ്ഞാനം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു; മൂഢന്മാരുടെ വായോ ഭോഷത്വം ആചരിക്കുന്നു.
The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.

15 : 15
അരിഷ്ടന്റെ ജീവനാൾ ഒക്കെയും കഷ്ടകാലം; സന്തുഷ്ടഹൃദയന്നോ നിത്യം ഉത്സവം.
All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.

15 : 16
ബഹു നിക്ഷേപവും അതിനോടുകൂടെ കഷ്ടതയും ഉള്ളതിനെക്കാൾ യഹോവാഭക്തിയോടുകൂടെ അല്പധനം ഉള്ളതു നന്നു.
Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith.

15 : 17
ദ്വേഷമുള്ളെടത്തെ തടിപ്പിച്ച കാളയെക്കാൾ സ്നേഹമുള്ളെടത്തെ ശാകഭോജനം നല്ലതു.
Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.

15 : 18
ക്രോധമുള്ള കലഹം ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു; ദീർഘക്ഷമയുള്ളവനോ കലഹം ശമിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.

15 : 19
മടിയന്റെ വഴി മുള്ളുവേലിപോലെയാകുന്നു; നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ പാതയോ പെരുവഴി തന്നേ.
The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain.

15 : 20
ജ്ഞാനമുള്ള മകൻ അപ്പനെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; മൂഢനോ അമ്മയെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നു.
A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish man despiseth his mother.

15 : 21
ഭോഷത്വം ബുദ്ധിഹീനന്നു സന്തോഷം; വിവേകിയോ ചൊവ്വായി നടക്കുന്നു.
Folly is joy to him that is destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly.

15 : 22
ആലോചന ഇല്ലാഞ്ഞാൽ ഉദ്ദേശങ്ങൾ സാധിക്കാതെ പോകുന്നു; ആലോചനക്കാരുടെ ബഹുത്വത്താലോ അവ സാധിക്കുന്നു.
Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.

15 : 23
താൻ പറയുന്ന ഉത്തരം ഹേതുവായി മനുഷ്യന്നു സന്തോഷം വരും; തക്കസമയത്തു പറയുന്ന വാക്കു എത്ര മനോഹരം!
A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!

15 : 24
ബുദ്ധിമാന്റെ ജീവയാത്ര മേലോട്ടാകുന്നു; കീഴെയുള്ള പാതാളത്തെ അവൻ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകും.
The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.

15 : 25
അഹങ്കാരിയുടെ വീടു യഹോവ പൊളിച്ചുകളയും; വിധവയുടെ അതിരോ അവൻ ഉറപ്പിക്കും.
The LORD will destroy the house of the proud: but he will establish the border of the widow.

15 : 26
ദുരുപായങ്ങൾ യഹോവെക്കു വെറുപ്പു; ദയാവാക്കോ നിർമ്മലം.
The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD: but the words of the pure are pleasant words.

15 : 27
ദുരാഗ്രഹി തന്റെ ഭവനത്തെ വലെക്കുന്നു; കോഴ വെറുക്കുന്നവനോ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കും.
He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.

15 : 28
നീതിമാൻ മനസ്സിൽ ആലോചിച്ചു ഉത്തരം പറയുന്നു; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ വായോ ദോഷങ്ങളെ പൊഴിക്കുന്നു.
The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.

15 : 29
യഹോവ ദുഷ്ടന്മാരോടു അകന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥനയോ അവൻ കേൾക്കുന്നു.
The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.

15 : 30
കണ്ണിന്റെ ശോഭ ഹൃദയത്തെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; നല്ല വർത്തമാനം അസ്ഥികളെ തണുപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat.

15 : 31
ജീവാർത്ഥമായ ശാസന കേൾക്കുന്ന ചെവിയുള്ളവൻ ജ്ഞാനികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ വസിക്കും.
The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise.

15 : 32
പ്രബോധനം ത്യജിക്കുന്നവൻ തന്റെ പ്രാണനെ നിരസിക്കുന്നു; ശാസന കേട്ടനുസരിക്കുന്നവനോ വിവേകം സമ്പാദിക്കുന്നു.
He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.

15 : 33
യഹോവാഭക്തി ജ്ഞാനോപദേശമാകുന്നു; മാനത്തിന്നു വിനയം മുന്നോടിയാകുന്നു.
The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.
